Lil' Kim, Missy Elliott and Da Brat reunited at the Soul Train Awards last month for a performance of their 1997 collaboration "Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix)." The show aired last night, Nov. 30, and the crowd was loving every minute of it. Eric Benet sang the intro while Total, MC Lyte, The Lady of Rage and Yo-Yo all joined in on the fun. The performance even included the Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes verse via a screen playing the music video.The audience erupted when Lil' Kim strutted onstage in the video below. She kicked off the wild song, eventually getting into her Shmoney Dance, "MTV News" noted. The Atlanta rhymer is following up on that success with the release of his debut self-titled mixtape after accusing Beyoncé of stealing his video concept.As noted by "HipHopDX," Maco's debut includes a guest spot from 2 Chainz on the "U Guessed It" remix along with features and production from OG Maco's Atlanta-based OGG crew."This tape is a culmination of every failure and lesson it ever took to achieve victory with my team, with my family and for the world," OG Maco told "Fader."Things seem to be looking up for Maco as of late. Last month, Drake awarded Maco with a Hood Grammy for Best All Around Turn Up for his breakout hit. There have also been comparisons to Mystikal, which he considers "a great compliment.""I've only heard two Mystikal songs in my life," he said during an interview with "Ebro in the Morning." "It's a great compliment, though, him and Pastor Troy. [My music] comes from rock and s--t, pure anger. Experimental hip-hop group, Death Grips, may have broken up earlier this year, but news continues to emerge about their music. On Black Friday, the group decided to release a special edition vinyl version of their third album," Government Plates." A Reddit user posted the picture online of the liner notes for the fifth song on the album, "Birds", revealing that Twilight star, Robert Pattinson, played guitar on the track.
