  • Shirley Manson of Garbage Slams Kanye West After 'Only One' Rapper Disses Beck, The Grammys for BeyoncĂ© Album of the Year Win

Everyone has a hot take on Kanye West's post-Grammys rant, when he slammed the award show and Beck because Beyoncé lost Album of the Year to the alt-rocker's Morning Phase. After the "Only One" rapper said Beck did not respect artistry, everyone from the Beyhive to Beck himself has had something to say, and now Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has shared her opinion, blasting West for being the real one who does not respect art.

Bey talked about the political message of the song following the ceremony in a video clip, revealing her personal connection to the standard as well.
  • Kanye West Says, 'I Love Beck' at the Airport, but Still Thinks BeyoncĂ© Should've Won Album of the Year

This whole Kanye West/Beck media storm has been exhausting, and it has been little more than half a day since West stormed Beck's Album of the Year acceptance speech with a faux interruption on Beyoncé's behalf. West said, "I love Beck" at the airport, but still thinks Queen Bey should have won the award.
  • Beyonce, Jay Z Album for 2015: 'Drunk in Love' Producer Detail Teases First LP for the Carters in Grammy Interview

The Grammy for Album of the Year may have eluded Beyoncé in 2015, but next year could see the big award for the "Drunk in Love" singer, with some help from her husband Jay Z, of course. Last night (Feb. 8), record producer Detail revealed that there are some big plans for the Carters in 2015, including that long-rumored duo album.
  • Grammys 2015: Beck Responds to Kanye West's Album of the Year Defense of BeyoncĂ©

Beck, along with most people watching the 2015 Grammys, thought Beyoncé should have won Album of the Year for her self-titled release. Kanye West took the questionable route of jumping onstage during Beck's acceptance, but the "Morning Phase" singer was perfectly fine with it. West continued to be critical of the choice and Beck after the show, but the alternative singer-songwriter told E! that he understands the rapper's frustrations. He even paid West a few compliments.
  • Grammys 2015: Beck's Wikipedia Page Hacked After 'Morning Phase' Upsets BeyoncĂ© for Album of the Year

Kanye West isn't the only one who thought that Beck "stole" the Grammy for Album of the Year from Beyoncé. Just moments after the "Blue Moon" singer's latest record Morning Phase upset Beyoncé's surprise, self-titled album for one of the most coveted awards of the night, Beyoncé's ever-dedicated fans, known as the Beyhive flooded Beck's Wikipedia page with some nasty edits.
  • Grammys 2015: 'Who Is Beck' Trends on Twitter After 'Morning Phase' Beats Out 'BeyoncĂ©' for Album of the Year

Following Beck's big upset over Beyoncé for Album of the Year, confused millennials flocked to Twitter in order to joke about the win and find out about the artist. "Who is Beck" had a brief but impressive trending stint on the social media site during the tail end of the 2015 Grammys. Beck supporters took to Twitter to help out the BeyHive and enlighten them as to who the "Morning Phase" artist is.
  • Grammys 2015: Kanye West Disses Beck, the Academy After 'Morning Phase' Upset BeyoncĂ© for Album of the Year

Kanye West is not happy with The Grammys once again. Last night (Feb. 8), Beck's latest record Morning Phase upset Beyoncé's surprise self-titled effort for Album of the Year. In one of the most confusing moments of the night, the "Only One" rapper jumped up on stage as Beck accepted his award, but now he's admitted that is was more than just a reference to his 2009 VMAs Taylor Swift diss, he's actually beefing with Beck.
  • Grammys 2015: Beck's Victory a Conspiracy to Destroy Rock Music (Not Just A Slight to BeyoncĂ©)...Says Trapt

Beck was somewhat the victim despite winning the Album of The Year award at the 2015 Grammys last night, due to the social media backlash he faced from...everybody who thought Beyoncé was going to won and should have won (probably the same folks behind the #WhoIsBeck trend). Perhaps things go much deeper than just a basic disagreement between Recording Academy voters and the listening public however: Perhaps his victory is all part of a music industry conspiracy to DESTROY ROCK 'N' ROLL.
  • Grammys 2015: BeyoncĂ© Steps into Mahalia Jackson's Shoes for 'Take My Hand, Precious Lord' [WATCH]

Beyoncé was the talk of the Twitterverse well before she took the stage for her performance at the 2015 Grammys, on account of having lost the fight for Album of The Year, by surprise, to Beck. She didn't seem to appear too bothered however, appearing as one of the show's final performances with a rousing rendition of "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," a standard written long ago by the Reverend Thomas Dorsey and made famous by Elvis Presley. Perhaps the most famous performer was Mahalia Jackson, and it was sung by R&B performer/actress Ledisi as Jackson in the film Selma.
