Jackson, Mississippi, parents were recently shocked to realize that Bey's "Partition" was being played during a middle school football game by the band. A multitude of parents took to Facebook to complain while others seemed unfazed by the song's usage. A group of parents finally reached out to WAPT-TV, wanting to call broader attention to the fact that 13-year old kids were playing a song entirely about sex, and finally action was taken. -

Beyoncé has been one of the most influential pop culture figures of the past decade, and now a biography is being written about her inspiring life. Billed as the first comprehensive biography of the pop star, the book will be released fall 2015 via Grand Central Books. The author of the biography, J. Randy Taraborrelli, will "explore all facets of Knowles' life," starting with her childhood performances, detailing her time with Destiny's Child and as a solo artist and looking inside her marriage to Jay Z, Billboard reports. -

Houston News Radio Station Converts To All Beyoncé Format To Become B92 FM
Beyoncé is obviously the reigning queen of pop music, but does she deserve her very own radio station? Well 92.1FM in Houston certainly seems to think so. After spending the last few years struggling to win over listeners with a news radio format they have decided to become B92 FM with the catch phrase, All Beyoncé, All The time. According to station execs 47 journalists were fired in the format change and it was a move dictated by poor Nielsen/Arbitron ratings.
