    Young Thug shocked the world when he revealed that he had gotten an ice cream cone tattooed on his face in tribute to Gucci Mane. "Shocked" might be a bit of a stretch, considering that the rapper has been on a tear of unpredictable behavior since the release of his Barter 6 album. First he tried to cop the name Tha Carter 6 from Lil Wayne (and in an "unrelated" incident, his road manager was just arrested for allegedly shooting at Weezy's tour bus). The he got the "tribute" tattoo. What next? Will he start wearing clocks on chains as a "tribute" to Flava Flav? Anyway, all we have right now is that Young Thug got some fresh ink, and it's on his face.   • Steve Strange, Vocalist for Visage and Icon of New Romantic Fashion, Dies in Egypt at 55

    Steve Strange, frontman of Visage and an icon for both the music and fashion of the '80s New Romantic movement, died Thursday of a heart attack. The vocalist was in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt when he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to a hospital. He had been hospitalized in Wales during December for breathing difficulties that were attributed to bronchial infection.

    Acts like One Direction and Taylor Swift have created armies of super-creepy, devoted fans. We're not talking about the typical Directioner...we're talking about the stalkers and X-rated fan fiction writers. Fortunately this isn't the '60s, where fans could apparently infiltrate the music industry and send messages to their idols. The best example is Elvis Presley, specifically his hit "Are You Lonely Tonight?," which according to Billboard generated at least four songs titled "Yes, I'm Lonely Tonight" and one "Oh, How I Miss You Tonight" as "answers" to his question. Odds are these songs were more about profits than untamed hormones, but we love the idea of response tracks.

  • Culture Club Cancels Reunion Tour, Boy George Cites Health Issues

    Though '80s pop stars Culture Club were set to begin their first tour in over 12 years this Saturday, the band has been forced to cancel the entire tour due to problems with singer Boy George's vocal cords. According to BBC, the 53-year-old singer has discovered a polyp in his throat, and may require surgery to have it removed.
