Just hours after damning videotape surfaced on Monday showing Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice punching his wife, Janay Palmer in the side of the face, the NFL had no choice but to take swift action. The Ravens released Rice from his 5-year contract and the NFL then suspended him from playing in the league. While these steps were deemed necessary, for some critics and fans alike it was too little, too late. The NFL's commissioner Roger Goodell now finds himself sitting in a hail storm of controversy. -

IIt hasn't been a great day for the NFL that's for sure. A few months back a video leaked of Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice dragging his unconscious then-fiance out of an elevator inside the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Rice and Janay Palmer actually married a month after the admitted assault and in a May press conference she shocked the media by actually taking some responsibility for provoking his violent behavior. This morning video from that elevator leaked and it showed Rice punching Palmer in the face and knocking her out cold. -

The Game is currently under investigation for domestic violence. Things seemed to be going well for rapper the Game and his fiancée Tiffney Cambridge once they got things back on track but apparently there is more than what meets the eye. -

Rapper 50 Cent was officially slapped with domestic violence charges after an altercation that took place on June 23, 2013. Allegedly, the "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" superstar kicked and injured one of his ex-girlfriends (also his baby mama) at her Toluca Lake, CA condo. During the assault, 50 Cent (real name,Curtis Jackson) also destroyed the unidentified woman's home. If found guilty, the rapper could face five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.
