• 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's' Stevie J Has Been Ordered Into Rehab After Failing 10 Drug Tests

One thing is for certain, if Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's Joseline Hernandez isn't getting herself into trouble, then her common-law-husband Stevie J is. Back in June the producer was popped for owing over one million dollars in back child support and he was released on $25,000 bail. Rather than working to pay off his debt and aiming to keep his nose clean, Stevie J can't seem to stay on the straight and narrow path.
  • Bill Cosby's Legal Team Insists CNN is Trying to Ruin Him

Bill Cosby's uphill battle to save his career isn't even close to over yet. Instead, it seems like with each passing day we learn of a new accuser or someone offers up scathing details of an encounter with the actor that seem to prop up all of the other allegations that came before. When Beverly Johnson decided to speak out recently it seemed like a bit of a game-changer because no one seemed to really question her account and there was a shift in the way that the media covered this story. Cosby felt it enough to actually talk to a reporter in the hopes of dividing and conquering the media. It didn't work, so now Cosby's legal team is ripping into the media, one network at a time and they're starting with CNN.

  • MTV Drops New Trailer and Announces It Is Dedicating Upcoming Season of 'The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II' to Diem Brown and Ryan Knight

The last several weeks have been pretty sad for the MTV family, as they have lost two members far too young. Diem Brown was as well-known for her struggles with cancer as she was for her fearlessness on several seasons of "The Challenge," and she was actually filming when she found out that cancer had spread to her colon. Brown put up a fight right to the end before finally dying in November. Just one short week later her cast mate, Ryan Knight, was found dead after a night of hard partying. MTV has decided to dedicate the upcoming season of "The Challenge: Battle of the Exes ll" to Brown and Knight, who make their final appearances in the series. The network has also dropped a new trailer for the upcoming season, which begins with CT Tambourello lifting Brown up off the couch and carrying her in his arms. Fans of Brown already know she collapsed not too long after filming for this series began and she was ultimately flown to New York, where she received the news that her cancer had spread. The rest of the clip looks like typical "Challenge" fare: lots of high-flying moments and the risky, daredevil moments that keep fans ultimately coming back for more.
  • Did Bill Cosby Give a Story to the Press About His Drug-Addicted Daughter to Silence Them on His Bad Behavior?

Every day at least one new Bill Cosby story hits the press, and they seem to be getting worse, if that is even possible. Countless women have come forward in the last two weeks, according to Yahoo!, telling similar stories that seem to paint Cosby at worst as a serial rapist or at least as a man who has used his fame to control others. Nearly every allegation has been made by someone who did not know the actor well, which is why the most recent story is so unsettling.According to Page Six, a reporter who used to work for the "National Enquirer" divulged details that, if true, kind of insinuate that Cosby is certainly not the best father, either. Supposedly, back in 1989 the magazine had a salacious story on Cosby swinging in Las Vegas with Sammy Davis Jr. and some show girls. At that point in time, Cosby's sitcom was the No. 1 show in America and he had been stereotyped as a father figure, so it was the kind of scandal he could not afford.Apparently, Cosby wheeled-and-dealed with the "Enquirer" and he gave it a different story to run, one about his then-23-year-old daughter Erinn, who had substance abuse issues. Cosby reportedly gave it all sorts of inside details on Erinn's drug and alcohol abuse with the understanding that it would not run the story on his own bad behavior.
  • Bill Cosby Laughed About Recent Allegations While Performing at a Women's Rape Charity Event in the Bahamas

Nearly every day for the last two weeks another woman has come out of the shadows to accuse Bill Cosby of everything from groping to full-blown rape. While his attorney is insisting that Cosby is nothing more than a victim of a horrific smear campaign, the industry is definitely fearing otherwise. NBC killed a new sitcom that had been in development and Netflix has shelved Cosby's latest stand-up gig that was filmed for them. At first, it was thought that Cosby's stand-up shows would survive these allegations, but many venues have begun canceling gigs into next year, indicating that the comedian may not come out of this with an active career intact.Late last week, Cosby did do a scheduled show in the Bahamas — and ironically enough the proceeds went to benefit a women's charity. The organization that he came out to support works with rape victims and domestic violence victims and provides counseling for both. No doubt Cosby was glad that this show went on because it made him look supportive of women's issues rather than an alleged abuser. What was appalling was that during this show Cosby found some crocodile tears for the slew of allegations against him and even joked onstage about his current battle in the public eye."Parents are coming and taking their children home, saying to me, 'Bill Cosby, you are an evil man! We will never eat your Jell-O pudding again!'" said Cosby to an audience that thought his jokes were hilarious.
  • Marion Barry, Washington D.C.'s 'Mayor for Life,' Dead at Age 78

News of Marion Barry's death at age 78 this morning, Nov. 23, according to CNN, has been met with mixed reactions. He clearly was the most-talked-about and influential politician in the history of the District of Columbia, but not always for the best reasons. Barry's four mayoral terms and years of service on the D.C. Council ultimately became secondary to one scandalous event that landed him in federal prison for six months.Back in 1990, FBI agents burst into a hotel room where Barry had just lit up a crack pipe with a younger woman after years of reportedly investigating the mayor's involvement with known drug dealers. Barry insisted it was a set-up, and while jurors ultimately deadlocked on most charges, he was convicted on one count that put him behind bars.Barry had been dubbed D.C.'s "Mayor for Life" and proved it by winning his final term as mayor after being released from prison. While his brand of politics was often thought to be shady, he remains a hero because of his commitment to those in low-income areas.Berry died shortly after midnight at United Medical Center after collapsing at his home. Ironically enough, Barry had just been released from Howard University Hospital Saturday.
  • Benzino Fired from 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' for Reportedly Making Death Threats Against Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez

Fans of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" were surprised recently to learn that Benzino and his love, Althea Eaton, were handed their walking papers from VH1's hit show. The firing came after a reunion show taping that turned violent when the always iffy Joseline Hernandez went nuclear on Zino and punched Eaton before taking extra shots at a few other cast members as well. Eventually, Hernandez and her man Stevie J were escorted from the building and the rest of the cast continued on, mainly discussing what addicts the two are. At the time it looked likely that they would be fired, as everyone was in complete agreement about how crazy violent Hernandez had become. Instead, Benzino and Eaton were canned and it is reportedly his fault.According to a new report by TMZ, Stevie J went to the producers and claimed that Zino had started a smear campaign that ultimately turned into flat-out death threats against himself and Hernandez. Stevie J is insisting that it was those threats that actually got Zino and Eaton fired because they were far worse than Hernandez's messiness and violent tendencies. Zino has yet to clap back and comment, but it is coming because he does like to take his gripes with anything related to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" straight to Twitter.
  • Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris Return to 'Love & Hip Hop New York' with a Daughter on the Way as Drug Trial Looms

The official cast for the upcoming winter season of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop New York" has finally been announced, and a lot of the regulars have decided to take a season off by leaving the network to add several new faces to the mix. Two who will be returning, though, are Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris. If you are a fan of the show, then you already know that Smith spent months fighting to get Harris out of jail after he was incarcerated in upstate New York.Harris was finally released on $600,000 bail last April after being locked up for 15 months, and he is still facing trial based on charges that he allegedly helped to run a drug pipeline from New York City to the Rochester region. Smith may have come up with the money to get her man out, but their troubles are far from over. Add to that the fact that Smith is currently expecting their second child while also raising Harris's older son and you get the makings of an interesting storyline.

  • Bill Cosby Is Doing Damage Control, Refuses to Discuss Revived Rape Allegations

Bill Cosby has spent a decade defending himself against allegations made by various women. While the comedian has prided himself on having a fairly wholesome image with generations remembering him primarily as Dr. Huxtable, when not peddling Pudding Pops, a more sinister side has been alleged. In the last week or so, rumors again have begun swirling about Cosby potentially drugging and raping women with one of his accusers, Barbara Bowman, speaking out again. While Cosby has been outspoken in the past, vehemently denying that he has ever put an inappropriate hand on any woman, this time around he has chosen to let his legal team do all the damage control.According to a report by TMZ, his attorney came out swinging, saying, "Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work."
