Experimental electronic artist Flying Lotus has announced his new album You're Dead!, which will be released through Warp Records on October 6 in the UK and on October 7 in the US. • Nas, Schoolboy Q, Flying Lotus: Shots Fired Following Concert

It’s been reported that following a Nas, Schoolboy Q and Flying Lotus concert at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater in the Denver area, shots were fired by a man with a rifle just outside the show. When Blur’s Damon Albarn revealed that he and Oasis’s Noel Gallagher had been talking about possibly recording together, we here at Music Times didn’t quite believe it was true. The two are notorious rivals, so working with one another seems like the last thing either one of them would want to do. This got me thinking about other artists who would never collaborate, but would probably make great work together if they did.
  • 'Grand Theft Auto 5' Features 240 Licensed Songs, Including Originals From Flying Lotus and Tyler, The Creator

The most anticipated video game of the year is "Grand Theft Auto V." Hands down. The game has a higher budget than the film "Prometheus," a map of epic proportions, and more relevant to us at Music Times, a soundtrack featuring at least 240 licensed songs featured on the games famous radio stations. Ivan Pavlovich, the soundtrack supervisor for Rockstar Games, gave some previews to Rolling Stone recently.
