Hangout Festival attendees were disappointed to hear that Sam Smith had canceled several months of touring heading into the summer as he recovers from vocal chord surgery. The "Stay With Me" crooner was set to be one of the headliners at the festival, but now that spot was left vacant by his departure. Hangout originally shuffled some bands around and gave them longer sets, but they have found their final replacement for Smith in the form of Skrillex and Diplo as Jack Ü. -

Alabama's 2015 Hangout Festival already had a stacked lineup when it announced its lineup in January of the Foo Fighters, Grammy Award-winner Beck, Skrillex, My Morning Jacket, Paramore, Spoon, Major Lazer and others, but it got greedy and decided to add even more names to the lineup. The second wave of artists is not a lot of names, but Hangout makes it count, with four-time Grammy Award-winner Sam Smith leading the charge, flanked by Tove Lo and Joey Bada$$ at his side. -

Hangout Music Festival came to a close Sunday in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Sundays at music festivals always have a bit of a different vibe than the other days. It can really polarize the audience between the lame-os and the coolest people on the planet. Some people are passed out in the middle of the field from the fatigue brought on by the weekend, while others are still going 110 percent to get the most out of their weekend. Tickets On Sale Now For Hangout Music Festival 2014
Hangout Music Festival 2014 tickets officially went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. ET. Early bird tickets are selling at $189 for general admission. VIP tickets are going for $799. Super VIP Early Bird tickets sold out within an hour but are available now at the "advance" price for about $1,500.
