• Ice Cube Announces N.W.A. Reunion at BET Experience Concert in L.A.

    Ice Cube announced the biggest hip-hop news of the summer as N.W.A. will apparently reunite in some form for the BET Experience show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 27. It doesn't seem, based on Cube's commentary, that Dr. Dre will not be involved however MC Ren and DJ Yella will take part, as well as special appearances from Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q.

    The defendant's list for the Suge Knight trial has grown unexpectedly. Suge Knight is continuing to battle the hit-and-run case where he was seen killing Terry Carter, however the incident has spurred a new lawsuit involving two of Knights former associates. According to TMZ, Carter's wife and children have filed a wrongful death lawsuit claiming that his death was caused by gang members who sparked the fight leading up to Suge Knight's fleeing the scene. Knight is unsurprisingly named in the suit, while Dr. Dre and Ice Cube are also named.

"The same thing that we was going through in the '80s with the police, people going through right now," Cube said as the pair rolled through Compton. "It's a good time for us to tell our story," Dre added.

    Former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight has been arrested and charged with murder following a hit-and-run incident that occurred Thursday (Jan. 29), The Hollywood Reporter notes. Knight allegedly got into an altercation near the site of a promotional shoot for the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton before the homicide happened. According to witnesses, Knight began arguing with two men when he pulled up to the scene in a red pick-up truck. When the fight began to get more serious, Knight reportedly backed into a victim, who died, and hit two others, who suffered non life-threatening injuries.
