Premiering the remix at the holiday party in Los Angeles for his label, OWLSA, Sonny Moore, also known as Skrillex, performed a frenetic 70 minute set, which included the new Bey remix. Diplo confirmed it was a Jack Ü remix on his Instagram, saying it was a present for Chrimbus.

    Skrillex and Diplo are just a week away from the biggest show of their lives. On New Year's Eve, the duo, known as Jack Ü, will be headlining Madison Square Garden with the help of Rudimental, Yellow Claw and A$AP Ferg. The duo spoke with "Time Out" magazine in preparation of the show to speak about Jack Ü, the New York club scene and the aforementioned show at MSG.Even for a massive venue like Madison Square Garden, which can pack close to 20,000 people, Skrillex still holds the belief that it will "feel intimate and personal.""We don't have a real rock-star approach with security all around us. It'll be a party. We'll have lots of special guests come out," he says.Diplo adds, "You'll be hearing some of the Jack Ü songs we've done, live, for the first time. The artists we've cut the records with will be performing with us. Both of us take it very seriously; if you've ever seen us perform live, you'll know the production value is insane."He even invited the entire New York Knicks team to shoot warm-ups during their set. Unfortunately for Diplo, the team will be in Los Angeles for a game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but that is probably for the best since the team probably would miss most of those pre-game shots.Diplo gave an honest opinion on the EDM scene, proclaiming it "dead."

    Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival is one of the biggest dance music festival franchises in the world. The flagship festival EDC Las Vegas started in Los Angeles and has since moved to Las Vegas, but Insomniac began to grow the brand in the past five years to the East Coast, creating outposts in New York and Orlando and then spreading internationally. One of these international destinations has taken root in Mexico City, and Insomniac has announced the lineup for the second-annual edition of the festival. Habitual headliners like Tiësto, David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Dillon Francis and Sasha will all join the party, with a large cast of DJs to round out the lineup, including Diplo and Skrillex's side project Jack Ü, which Diplo announced the appearance of last month in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid.The lineup includes a variety of DJs from a wide swath of genres. Some of the acts heading to Mexico in the spring include Tommy Trash, Grum, Dubfire, Arty, GTA, Oliver Heldens, Orjan Nilsen, Claude VonStroke, Andrew Rayel and more, via "Mixmag." The festival will take place over two days, Feb. 28 to March 1. As it is in Las Vegas, EDC Mexico will be situated on a racetrack, this time closer to the city than in Las Vegas at the Autodrome Hermanos Rodriguez.

According to Billboard, "Rebel Heart" is a production alongside Swedish superstar Avicii, while "Wash All Over Me" has the hallmarks of an Avicii production.     As they announced on Power 106's "Big Boy's Neighborhood," Skrillex and Diplo have released the music video for their super duo Jack U's debut single "Take U There" alongside must-watch Canadian singer Kiesza. The video is not a big-budget music video you may find from a major-label-signed pop star, but is more of a well-produced do-it-yourself video.It features footage of Jack U performing across the Mad Decent Block Party tour this summer in Los Angeles and Dallas, with clips of the New York show at MCU Park, where "Take U There" was performed with live vocals from Kiesza for the first time. The music video takes a trippy turn with wacky Disclosure — like drawings over their faces and cartoonish animations overlaying the two DJs and singer dancing. You can tell it was pretty DIY when the police stop them for filming the video in the street. It shows the carefree and fun-loving attitude from these three, via "Spin."
