Bradley Cooper is one of Hollywood's biggest stars. His upcoming film, "American Sniper," is creating some serious awards buzz while the reviews of his Broadway performance in "The Elephant Man" have been positive. It turns out that Cooper has a few other talents, though, including some serious chops as an air guitarist. During a recent visit to "The Tonight Show," the actor showed Jimmy Fallon and his audience how well he knows Neil Young's "Down by the River" on the air ax.Cooper made it clear that his musical talents are not widely known during his hilarious interview with Fallon."I play an air guitar," he says in the clip below. "There's one song by Neil Young that I feel like, I don't know if everybody knows this, so I'm proud I know it. It's just the guitar solo of 'Down by the River.'"Cooper could not explain why he memorized that particular song, but it is obvious that he is a fan. While wearing a ridiculous wig — it is kind of a thing for the pair now — the actor stood up and plucked his invisible Gibson Les Paul, much to the delight of the host and viewers. Roots guitarist Kirk Douglas took over the duties before the show went to a commercial break. -

For Minaj, somewhere was in a high-school classroom portraying "Angry Phone Girl." The brief scene has the hip-hop superstar demanding another woman make a call so she gets her baby back. Minaj gets so into the role that the teacher has to remind her to be careful when she throws the phone toward the other actor. Ringo Starr was recently announced as one of the members of 2015's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class. He is the last Beatle to be inducted into the institution as a solo act. Paul McCartney, who was inducted as a solo act in 1999, had the pleasure of breaking the news to his bandmate, "Rolling Stone" reports. Macca also stopped by "The Tonight Show" to talk about his pal's recent honor. Jimmy Fallon took it as a chance to try all his Beatles impressions."I was talking to a friend and he said 'Brian Epstein is getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.' I said 'That's great, because he's the Beatles manager,'" McCartney says in the video below. "He says, 'Yeah, but Ringo's not in yet.' I said, 'Whoa. Wait a minute. We can't have that ...' Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, you got to put Ringo in. Idina Menzel put out a Christmas album titled "Holiday Wishes" in October. The singer takes on the usual standards like "White Christmas," "Silent Night" and "Baby It's Cold Outside," but her shining moment comes closer to the end of the album. Menzel decided to include a breathtaking version of Joni Mitchell's Christmas-themed classic "River." Her performance of the tune on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" blew viewers away.Yes, we know you can sing, Idina. We have all heard "Let It Go" a million times, but this performance is devastatingly beautiful. Menzel lends her Broadway pipes and pop sensibilities to Mitchell's tune and lets the songwriter's words do the rest."I wish I had a river so long / I would teach my feet to fly / Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on / I made my baby say goodbye," she sings in the video below. Check it out."River" is off Mitchell's 1971 release "Blue." It is regarded as one of the folk artist's best pieces.
