The Top 10 albums from last week might not have featured too many new entries, but the Digital Downloads Top 10 indicates that new players are looking to make a run at the top. The top six tracks are all returnees, but nos. 7-10 are all new from last week. We'll start with the old favorites for the sake of numerical ordering. -

No, Gaga has been nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award, better known as a Razzie. -

This week served as another chance for 2013's biggest hits to spend another week in the Billboard Top 10 as only one new release managed to crack into the upper ranks of album sales. The albums that stuck around managed to make some marks however. -

Awards Season has officially begun. The Grammys are just weeks away, and now the nominees for the 2014 Brit Awards have been announces. At the top of the list are two British acts, Disclosure (collaborator Sam Smith just won BBC's Sound of 2014) and Bastille, who have four nominations each. Despite not being up for any Grammy nominations (likely due to not being eligible this year), One Direction has been nominated as well for British Single and British Group. -

Last week's Digital Downloads Top 10 (Top 50 for that matter) all saw an increase in sales thanks to the giving of iTunes gift cards, etc. during the holidays. That resulted in this week's inevitable drop off for all of the songs in the Top 10, which all saw a decrease in sales from last week. That doesn't mean sales were bad however: Five songs still broke 200,000 in total downloads, up from the typical two or three. -

Temperatures have been cold across the country, and so have album sales. Due to the end of the year and the low number of new releases that comes with it, the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 features a slew of familiar faces, but at least the door opened up for a few hits from throughout 2013 to make a reappearance. -

Lorde, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke and Metallica have been added to the performers list for the 56th annual Grammy Awards. This marks Lorde's Grammy Awards debut, and she is up for four awards including record of the year and song of the year for her No. 1 hit "Royals." She will be competing against Perry's hit "Roar" in the song of the year category, according to Billboard. -
