It was recently revealed that pop singer Ke$ha would be heading to rehab to battle her eating disorder. In a recent interview with People, the star's mother Pebe Sebert is criticizing her 26-year-old daughter's producer Dr. Luke and other advisors who she says had a role in her bulimia. -

Last week's Digital Downloads Top 10 (Top 50 for that matter) all saw an increase in sales thanks to the giving of iTunes gift cards, etc. during the holidays. That resulted in this week's inevitable drop off for all of the songs in the Top 10, which all saw a decrease in sales from last week. That doesn't mean sales were bad however: Five songs still broke 200,000 in total downloads, up from the typical two or three. -

Yesterday, Ke$ha reportedly admitted herself to a rehab center to confront an apparent eating disorder, according to Billboard. Following the release of her self-directed "Dirty Love" video earlier this week, she admitted herself into a Chicago-area treatment center where she plans to stay for a month. -
Pitbull, Ke$ha, Eminem and Rihanna end year atop Billboard Digital Downloads chart
Music Times warned you that the final Digital Downloads' chart of the year would be chalk full of sales thanks to people cashing in on the iTunes/download cards they received for Christmas. And sure enough, it was a huge week. Every song in the Top 50 saw a sales increase, and 46 of those tracks saw rises of more than 100 percent (aka doubling in sales since last week). -

The end of the year didn't bring any new albums to the Billboard 200 Top 10 this week, and the Top 10 of the Digital Downloads charts didn't bring too many fresh faces either. -
