After releasing the positive and peppy Isley Brother sampling song on Sept. 23, the Compton rapper debuted the song live for the first time last night (Oct. 2) during a concert in Toronto. -

The song experienced a drop in sales over the week but not enough to stop her from passing Taylor Swift and "Shake It Off." "Bass" sold 253,000 downloads while "Shake" sold 224,000. The pair of songs have switched places twice now but if sales keep dropping this may mark the end of "Shake"s run at the top. -

The 90-minute special focused on the history of his 65,000 square-foot Paisley Park estate as well as the collaborators who worked on his most recent records. Toward the end of the broadcast, Prince performed three songs and brought out Kendrick Lamar for one of them. Lamar dropped a new verse for "What's My Name," a rare track from Prince's 1998 box set Crystal Ball. -
