• 'RHOA' Apollo Nida's Jailhouse Paychecks Are Now Being Garnered to Pay Restitution

Apollo Nida has been locked up since September on various fraud charges, and while the "RHOA" star is looking at eight ears behind bars, he still has been making a nice income. He has been getting paid for his appearances on the reality show and he also has been hoping that his fitness brand will prosper, leaving him with a nice financial cushion once he is finally released. Unfortunately, the U.S. government seems to have a different idea for his jailhouse paychecks: restitution.
  • 'RHOBH' Brandi Glanville Did 'Celebrity Apprentice' so That Her Son Could Watch

Brandi Glanville is like a lightening rod for controversy. If you have seen her on "RHOBH," then you know the reality star refuses to play the typical celebrity game. She calls her fellow castmates on their nonsense and it tends to end badly. Unfortunately, Glanville and the others are often talking over drinks, so she has also been accused of being an alcoholic, something the star dismisses pretty quickly. But she does know that her behavior can be pretty bad at times, so when the opportunity rolled around to appear on "Celebrity Apprentice," she jumped on it so her son could watch.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Didn't Have a Family Visit Yet Because She Is Going Through Drug Detox

When Teresa Giudice turned herself in to begin serving her 15-month sentence at Danbury Federal Correctional Institute, the focus was initially on the family that she was leaving behind. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" husband Joe Giudice is now in charge of taking care of their four daughters, something he has never done before, and the media began speculating on Teresa's life without hair extensions and a new chore list. As it turns out, an even bigger problem is plaguing the reality star: an addiction to prescription pills.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa has been using Xanax and Valium for the last five years, and she has also dabbled with human growth hormones to put muscle on her lean frame. That means she is now experiencing some major detox behind bars. According to the source, Teresa could be afflicted with symptoms for as long as two weeks as everything leaves her body."Teresa would get things through her friend whose husband is a doctor and two other doctors. It's going to be a [major] detox. I warned her about that. It's going to be hell. It's a cold withdrawal. You just detox. It's a really brutal withdrawal. She'll get sick. She will get diarrhea. She'll have actual DTs [delirium tremens, aka 'the shakes']," said the source.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Has Turned Herself in to Danbury Federal Prison to Begin Serving 15-Month Sentence

The first day of the next 15 months of Teresa Giudice's life has finally arrived. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star turned herself in to Danbury Federal Correctional Institution at around 3 a.m. this morning, Jan. 5, accompanied by her attorney, James J. Leonard Jr. Her husband, Joe Giudice, stayed behind with the couple's four children, no doubt one of the hardest days of their lives. When asked about Giudice's mindset this morning, Leonard claims his client actually was holding up well, all things considered. He told northjersey.com that Giudice was:"Very, very strong. Very, what I would say is, very anxious to get this thing started and very anxious to get it behind her. In all of my discussions with her, her singular focus has been on her four children. She's never talked about what is this gonna be like for me. Always her concern is with her children, not with herself. We worked it out with the prison. They wanted her to report at 3 a.m. We actually got to Danbury at about a quarter to 2. Then we went and found a diner and had something to eat. We just talked and then when we were done, we went to the prison."Leonard also said the prison staff was kind to Giudice and answered her questions about visitation and phone calls. No doubt this is the start of reality finally hitting the reality star and her kids as well. Her oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has already shown some understandable emotional cracks, and this past weekend was tough on the 13-year-old.
  • Chris Rock Was Tired of Being Married, Now Faces Custody Battle

When it was first announced that Chris Rock and his wife of 19 years, Malaak Compton-Rock, had split, it sounded like things might be as amicable as these things ever can be. It is a marriage that has had issues in the past, with the couple splitting up once before about eight years ago. Compton-Rock issued a kind of weird statement that referenced her work while confirming the split, then we heard she has been keeping the couple's two daughters from Rock and, well, this is starting to sound pretty messy.Rock reportedly filed official documents in a New Jersey court to dissolve the marriage last Tuesday, Dec. 23, and according to a report by TMZ it matters to him that people know it was his decision to pull the plug on the relationship. He is also pushing for joint custody while Compton-Rock is reportedly looking for sole custody of their children.Sources close to Rock have said that he is a great and an involved father, so much so that even while promoting his current movie, "Top Five," his work schedule had to be built around taking his daughters to school and then picking them up later in the day. That hardly sounds like the kind of guy you cut out of your kids's lives, and it kind of feels like she is trying to use the kids as a way to punish Rock, doesn't it?
  • 'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Believes New Legal Team Will Get Her Out of Jail Early

It's amazing how many headlines Teresa Giudice still manages to grab, in spite of doing precious little in the last few months. Back in October "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star learned that she'll be serving 15 months behind bars after pleading guilty on several fraud charges, but she claims not to have really understood the plea deal that she took. Instead Giudice believes that her own legal team mislead her so she has been shopping for new representation as her Jan. 5 incarceration date quickly approaches.
