• Kanye West Signs Kacy Hill to G.O.O.D. Music After Pusha T Suggests Lil Wayne Join the Label

    G.O.O.D. Music has a new addition and, despite Pusha T's suggestion, it is not Lil Wayne. Instead, Kanye West has decided to sign Kacy Hill to his label.Hill offered up her debut song "Experience" in September and served as a backup dancer for West during his Yeezus tour. During an interview with "Pigeons and Planes," the model-turned-singer revealed her newfound love for writing music."'Experience' was one of the first songs that I wrote, so it was only appropriate to release it first," she said. "Writing it was such a freeing experience; I can definitely say it was the first time I felt a real connection with what I was doing in my life. The whole process was so organic and I never want to lose that energy."Hill, like West, also has a deep passion for fashion and hopes it will mesh into her music. She said she wants to make "music that feels good and creates movement in redefining pop and its interaction with fashion."With her G.O.O.D. Music signing, Hill joins the likes of Big Sean, Pusha T, John Legend, Q-Tip and Teyana Taylor.

    Despite all the drama swirling around Lil Wayne, "Tha Carter V" and his relationship with Cash Money Records, the "Believe Me" rapper is still hard at work making new music. According to reports, Lil Wayne is recording a mixtape in lieu of his indefinitely delayed final album "Tha Carter V." An Instagram picture posted online by Young Money rapper Fee Banks shows Lil Wayne in the studio with four individuals including — of all people — NBA player Glen "Big Baby" Davis, saying simply "Sorry 4 The Wait 2." Mack Maine also dropped another hint about "Sorry for the Wait 2" in a follow-up Instagram post, tagging it in a picture of the hulk, lending to the belief that the follow-up mixtape to "Sorry for the Wait" is in the works now.

A 20-track deluxe version is also available on iTunes, "Consequence of Sound" reports.Minaj's collaborations with Bey and Grande leaked last week following singles like "Anaconda," "Bed of Lies" featuring Skylar Grey and "Only" featuring Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne. He was asked if he actually wanted Wayne to join the label, and he offered up an interesting response."I don't know. I just like the fact that I'm a prophet because of my song 'Exodus,'" he said.Released in 2012, Push uses the track to throw shade and mocks what he calls the New Orleans rapper's career self-sabotage:"It came out two years ago! People should just call me 'The Prophet.' You know what? Wayne on G.O.O.D. Music ... Well 'Ye actually likes Wayne, so they could probably make some good music together. But who knows."

It is not clear if this is a leftover from their Rich Gang sessions, though it could also be a new cut, since their co-conspirator Birdman does not make an appearance.
