Are you a fan of Pearl Jam? Are you a baseball die-hard? Looks like 2013 is your year. The Seattle band has signed a partnership with Fox Sports to license 48 Pearl Jam songs for the 2013 World Series coverage. Their music will be featured on opening teases, commercial transitions and montages from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31 as well as in promotional slots throughout the month of November as "artist of the month." -

Pearl Jam Unveils Short Film on 'Lightning Bolt' Featuring Judd Apatow and Carrie Brownstein
Lightning Bolt comes out in a few weeks, so to promote the record, Pearl Jam has released a short documentary about how the record came to be. Directed by Danny Clinch (Immagine In Cornice), the film shows footage of the Seattle group performing new material, jamming out in cars, surfing, and answering questions from their guest interviewers, which include Judd Apatow, Carrie Brownstein (Portlandia, Wild Flag), Former NLF star Steve Gleason (who is battling ALS), and hall-of-fame Australian surfer Mark Richards. -

If you missed last year's inaugural Made In America Festival, you can experience the whole thing and more in an upcoming documentary, directed by two-time Oscar winner Ron Howard. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Howard says that he felt a little uncomfortable directing the documentary, seeing as he hadn't heard of many of the artists that were set to play. -
