The HBO series highlights the inner workings of Hollywood in a comedic manner and does so with a great soundtrack propelling it to a worldwide audience. The show featured tracks, notably hip-hop tracks, from the likes of Jay Z, T.I., Kanye West, Eminem, N.W.A. and many more. That tradition of big tracks to go along with the overtop acting is coming to the big screen and the film soundtrack has been unveiled. Among those who will appear on the tracklist include Diplo, Pharrell, Tame Impala and Jane's Addiction. -

Fans are counting down the days until Snoop Dogg releases his new Pharrell-produced album Bush. One of the more anticipated collaborations on the LP features the legend Stevie Wonder and at a recent album recent listening event in Los Angeles, the Snoop shared the story of how he was able to get Stevie on the track. During a session where he and Pharrell were recording one of the tracks, it was decided that they could use some Stevie Wonder on the track after working with Charlie Wilson on most of the LP. The Doggfather explained exactly how he was able to get a hold of Mr. Wonder and get him in the studio to record on the album, much to the apparent surprise and amazement of Pharrell (via Hip Hop DX). -

The Marvin Gaye family are not satisfied with the $7.4 million settlement decision they just received from a jury over the unfair use of "Got to Give It Up" in Pharrell and Robin Thicke's 2013 summer hit "Blurred Lines." The family has filed new motions to hold T.I. -- real name Clifford Harris Jr. -- and the labels that distributed the track, Universal Music, Interscope and Star Trak Entertainment, responsible as well.
