Just about every day now we are hearing a different story about what the future may hold for Teresa Giudice in terms of work. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is scheduled to begin serving a 15-month sentence Jan. 5 after pleading guilty to financial fraud. The most recent season of her reality show wrapped up in October, and now Bravo executives need to figure out what they are going to do. At first it was rumored that "RHONJ" would continue on and bring back some old fan favorites to the canvas, but now it seems that Bravo is more inclined to put the series on hiatus.According to a report by Radar Online, sources close to the show are saying that network execs are fearing that without Giudice, the ratings will be dismal. Even with her there this past season, the numbers took a serious dip. Apparently, some insiders seem to think that shelving the show for a while is the best thing to do. Storylines seem to be a real problem because most of the latest additions to the cast have bored viewers into changing the channel. If "RHONJ" takes a break now and returns in 2016 with Giudice in the cast, fresh out of prison, it would likely do well. Fans of the show would want to see if jail time has changed her, and we already know that Giudice will be looking for a way to profit from her unfortunate experience. It might actually be the only way to get more mileage out of the show. -
After 'RHONJ,' Bravo Is Finished Doing Business with Convicted Felon Teresa Giudice
It looks like Teresa Giudice may have a harder time cashing in after she serves her 15 months behind bars than she originally had thought. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star had reportedly been hoping to secure some sort of television deal with Bravo, either for a cooking show or her own reality show, that would begin production around April 2016 after her release. Instead, it seems like the network is just about finished doing business with the woman who has been convicted of several financial crimes. At one point in time, Giudice had several endorsement deals, but the majority of those have been shelved and she still owes more than $200,000 in restitution plus has four kids to raise. Money has become a huge issue for the fallen star, but according to Radar Online, Bravo is not jumping at the chance to do anymore business with her."Teresa hasn't been offered any new projects with Bravo. In fact, there is a lot of bad feelings where Bravo and Teresa are concerned. The network feels used and was stunned Teresa said in court documents that the show was a sham. Bravo would never sign Teresa up for her own show after everything that has gone down! It seems like someone that was once close to Teresa is now floating false stories about her, hoping to get back in good favor with her. It's not going to work," said a source close to the situation. -
Is French Montana After Khloe Kardashian's Money?
In recent weeks it has definitely looked like Khloe Kardashian has reconciled with French Montana after a brief break in their relationship. Once the current season of "Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons" began airing, documenting the early days of their romance, Kardashian and Montana seemed to gravitate back together. How serious these two actually are can be kind of tricky to get a good read on because Kardashian has wished out loud that she was still happily married to Lamar Odom and talked about being Montana's wife shortly thereafter. -
Tori Spelling Will Continue 'True Tori' Even Though It's Ruining Her Marriage to Dean McDermott
If you are someone who has been watching Tori Spelling's train wreck of a reality show "True Tori" on Lifetime, then you have already seen firsthand what a mess her marriage is. When her husband Dean McDermott's affair became public knowledge nearly a year ago, the actress decided to make the personal crisis the platform for her latest reality show, and so True Tori was born. While McDermott initially agreed to look like a fool on camera and was willing to shoulder most of the blame during their filmed therapy sessions, almost a year has passed, and it seemed that they have gotten nowhere. McDermott is now refusing to film anymore because it, quite obviously, is not fixing anything, according to "Us Weekly."Spelling sat for an interview today on "The Meredith Vieira Show," and she once again explained and tried to justify continuing on with a show that, at this point, might actually be killing her marriage. She said, "We let it all hang out. I don't [think I reveal too much] because if everything hadn't been made as public as it was, I would've chosen to deal with this privately with my husband. We're talking about the affair that my husband had almost a year ago. I chose to deal with it because it was my journey, it was my truth. Women everywhere go through this and I wanted to put it out there. It's completely cathartic for me and it's very individual. -
'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Is Getting Those Divorce Papers Ready as Marriage to Joe Giudice Is in Ruins
Teresa Giudice is scheduled to surrender to authorities at a prison camp in Connecticut Jan. 5, a stint that will ultimately keep her locked away from her kids for 15 months. One of the ways that "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is dealing with her temporary fate is by beginning to plan for her life afterward. Once she is released, her husband Joe Giudice will immediately begin serving a 41-month sentence for a string of financial crimes, and it is unlikely that they will be married once he is a free man.According to a report by the "Daily Mail," Teresa is already planning on having Joe served with divorce papers shortly after he is locked up. She is already furious that she trusted his business dealings only to find herself a convicted felon who needs to serve prison time. The reality star has insisted that she was prone to signing things that her husband put in front of her without really understanding what the documents actually were. As time has gine on, Teresa has found the resentment growing and she knows that it will only be worse once she is locked up while Joe is still walking free. -
Caroline Manzo Reportedly Returning to 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Once Teresa Giudice Is in Prison
We recently told you that Bravo was working hard to try and strike a deal with Caroline Manzo to bring her back to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." She opted out of filming the most recent season, so the producers brought in a trio of new ladies who just did not click with the audience. Midway through, they brought Jacqueline Laurita back in a desperate attempt to get former fans to tune back in, and they realize that for the show to have any chance of pulling decent numbers, they need a favorite like Manzo back in the fold.Teresa Giudice used to be the glue that held "RHONJ" together, and viewers loved the havoc she wrecked in nearly episode. There seems to be a huge difference between lying about her sister-in-law's activities and bilking people out of millions, and once it was confirmed that Giudice is a criminal, her fans became few and far between.Bravo also has to try and clean up the reputation of the show because Giudice is headed to prison, Laurita's tax evasion has been catching headlines and Joe and Melissa Gorga's business dealings are always questionable. Part of what makes Manzo so popular is that she comes across as the hardworking, Italian mother, something that is respected.According to The Hollywood Life, it looks like Manzo is a sure bet to return to the show for Season 7, especially once Giudice is in jail and the rest of the ladies are in one way or another affected by her absence. -
'RHOBH's' Scores Highest Ratings for Premiere in Years Thanks To the Addition of Soap Stars' Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson
It looks like Bravo and Andy Cohen got their wish. Season five of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premiered last week and the numbers look really good. 2 million households tuned in to catch up with the ladies and that is a 25% ratings increase over last season. While series regulars Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Foster, Kyle Richards and Kim Richards all returned it was likely the newcomers that helped to give those numbers a boost. -
Dean McDermott Battling with Tori Spelling to Keep Their Four Kids Off Her Reality Show "True Tori"
Tori Spelling has spent the last several months using her reality show, "True Tori," as a way to try and hash out her plethora of marital problems with Dean McDermott in front of Lifetime's rolling cameras. What's even more uncomfortable is the number of arguments that have been filmed right in front of the couples' four kids -- all under the age of 8. McDermott recently said that he is done with this reality show because he's tired of looking like the bad guy and now it seems that he wants to pull the kids away from those cameras as well. -
Khloe Kardashian's Divorce from Lamar Odom is Headed for An Automatic Dismissal Due to Inactivity
Last Christmas, Khloe Kardashian gave herself the gift of filing for divorce from Lamar Odom, in the hopes of being able to finally step over him and move on. Instead of coming to terms with the reality that their marriage is over, Odom has, right up until now, refused to file an official response to her divorce petition with the court. That means that almost a full year after filing her court documents, Kardashian is no closer to being divorced than she was a year ago. -
Benzino Fired from 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' for Reportedly Making Death Threats Against Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez
Fans of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" were surprised recently to learn that Benzino and his love, Althea Eaton, were handed their walking papers from VH1's hit show. The firing came after a reunion show taping that turned violent when the always iffy Joseline Hernandez went nuclear on Zino and punched Eaton before taking extra shots at a few other cast members as well. Eventually, Hernandez and her man Stevie J were escorted from the building and the rest of the cast continued on, mainly discussing what addicts the two are. At the time it looked likely that they would be fired, as everyone was in complete agreement about how crazy violent Hernandez had become. Instead, Benzino and Eaton were canned and it is reportedly his fault.According to a new report by TMZ, Stevie J went to the producers and claimed that Zino had started a smear campaign that ultimately turned into flat-out death threats against himself and Hernandez. Stevie J is insisting that it was those threats that actually got Zino and Eaton fired because they were far worse than Hernandez's messiness and violent tendencies. Zino has yet to clap back and comment, but it is coming because he does like to take his gripes with anything related to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" straight to Twitter. -
Anna Wintour Says That Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Are Not 'Deeply Tasteful'
Remember when Kim Kardashian was granted her fondest wish and graced the cover of "Vogue" with Kanye West and their daughter North West? At the time she seemed to think that this one photo shoot was proof that she had gone from Ray J's dirty sex tape to a real class act. Getting Anna Wintour's seal of approval for that "Vogue" shoot meant everything, but now it seems Kardashian might have read into it all a little too much.Wintour was speaking at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Monday, Nov. 17, and when asked about that infamous cover, she staunchly defended her decision to have Kardashian and her family grace it, but she also let her reason for doing so slip and it is a zinger, according to the "Daily Mail."Wintour talked about needing to, at times, make "Vogue" edgy and create some buzz for it to keep up with current pop culture."I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us. It's very important that people do talk about us. The first celebrity that I put on the cover of "Vogue" was Madonna, and that was considered completely controversial at the time, too. It's such a long time ago probably no one remembers, but she was a very controversial figure. Now she's part of the establishment." said Wintour in the "Mail.". -
Lisa Rinna Claims That 'RHOBH' Is Similar to 'Melrose Place,' Just Without the Script
When "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returns to Bravo this evening for its fifth season, there will be two new faces joining the cast that will be quite familiar to many viewers. Both Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson have played hugely popular soap characters with a great daytime television following. Obviously, Bravo is hoping this will translate into fantastic ratings right out of the gate, and it probably has every reason to believe that that can happen.Rinna left "Days of Our Lives" back in the 1990s to hop over to a plumb role on the original "Melrose Place" and, according to an interview with E!, being on "RHOBH" feels similar to that gig."This is very close to doing "Melrose Place" without a script in your hand. Like everything in life, it's all about timing. It's funny, when I went on to "Melrose Place" it was Year 5. This is Year 5 of "Housewives" ... To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it's been a really great gig for me. It felt right, to be honest with you ... and I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure."
