Claudia Jordan must be having a great week. Not only did she emerge from yesterday's taping of The Real Housewives of Atlanta's reunion in one piece, but she is also officially one of the cast members. Apparently, she went into this past season as a potential housewife and filmed with Bravo for free while they worked out the particulars. Jordan and Demetria McKinney both went up against former regular cast member, Porsha Williams to see which lady would walk away with the new contract and she won by a landslide. -
'RHOA' Phaedra Parks to File for Divorce From Apollo Nida After Realizing He Wasn't a 'Changed Man'
The season of 'RHOA' currently airing on Bravo has been filled with emotional upheaval for Phaedra Parks. The cameras have rolled as her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Apollo Nida, has intimidated, threatened and lied about her before finally beginning to serve an eight-year prison sentence for fraud. In many scenes you can just feel Parks's fear and discomfort without her needing to verbalize it, and it is a relief to finally arrive at the point where she is ready to file for divorce. In Bravo's preview clip for tonight's new 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' episode March 22, Parks explains she believed Nida was a changed man, which is why she built a life with him. -
Kandi Burruss Thinks NeNe Leakes Proved Her 'Diva Antics' During Therapy Session on 'RHOA'
If you are a fan of 'RHOA,' then you have likely already seen the latest episode that featured a group counseling session. NeNe Leakes believed that perhaps if the group of women sat down with a certified counselor, then maybe they could put some of their issues on the table and begin to fix them. The problem with that was that when Leakes realized that she is the common denominator in nearly every problem, she got up and left. Apparently, it never occurred to her that nearly every one of the ladies had an issue with her that needed fixing, and Leakes had no intention of sitting through "Pick on NeNe Day." Kandi Burruss was at this therapy session, where she said NeNe proved her "diva antics," and she was pretty anxious to discuss it in her new Bravo blog. -
NeNe Leakes Takes Heat for Storming Out of Therapy Group on 'RHOA'
It looks like NeNe Leakes bit off a little more than she can chew with the rest of the ladies from 'RHOA.' If you tuned in last night, March 15, then you already get why the Internet is buzzing about her today, March 16. We told you the other day about how Leakes thought therapy might be a good idea for this constantly fighting group of women. In truth, everyone seemed to have beef with a couple different people in the group, so therapy did seem like a decent idea. Unfortunately, after convincing the ladies to attend just one session, it ended up being Leakes who could not handle the heat, and she stormed out of the group. -
'RHOA' Kandi Burruss Was the Last to Know That Her Friendship With Phaedra Parks Was in Trouble
In the most recent episode of 'RHOA,' fans of the show learned just how bad Phaedra Parks was feeling about her relationship with Kandi Buress. Over the years the two have been really tight, but it seems like Apollo Nida has managed to wreck a bit of havoc between them. Before he went off to jail, Nida insisted that Parks was having an affair and offered up text messages that supposedly proved it. When Parks was confronted with the accusations, Burruss did not immediately jump to her defense and that upset Parks a lot. It seems Burruss was the last one to know that her friend was even upset with her. -
Bravo Planning a Round Table Talk Show Similar to 'The View'
Bravo is always trying to come up with new ways to expand their wheel house and their latest possibility sounds like something that might actually work. Apparently the network is developing a talk show similar to the round table format used by The View and the catch is that it would feature Bravolebrities as the hosts. They've already capitalized on fans desire to hear more from the people featured on the network with the late night chatfest, Watch What Happens Live and it's an idea that has really worked. -
NeNe Leakes Thinks That Counseling Will Help Everyone on 'RHOA'
If anyone is ruling the roost on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," it's NeNe Leakes. From day one, she has been the one who seems to call the shots and the one lady that almost everyone has feared crossing. The cast is currently in total chaos with everyone having beef with someone else. Claudia Jordan was brought into the group this season to freshen things up and she has clashed with several people. Kenya Moore is always a lightening rod for drama. Apparently, Leakes got tired of all of the turmoil and decided they could all use some extra help. -
Apollo Nida Was Fired from 'RHOA' Shortly After Reporting to Prison
Apparently for Apollo Nida, life inside a Kentucky prison isn't going so well. Six months ago he was a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member with a wife and two kids. Now he is jobless, about to be divorced and locked up for 8 years on a variety of financial crimes including fraud and identity theft. While Nida seemed to work overtime to drag his wife, Phaedra Parks down with him before he left, he's clearly the one rightfully suffering now. Finally the former television star has faced his current reality and is more than a little depressed. -
'RHOA' Phaedra Parks Insists That She Never Cheated on Apollo Nida
Fans of 'RHOA' have waited all season for last night's March 1 episode to finally air. We have been hearing for months about Phaedra Parks being accused of cheating on her husband, Apollo Nida, before he began serving an eight-year prison sentence, but finally the actual mess aired on Bravo. Parks has done a great job of taking verbal shots at the other women over the years, but when frenemy Kenya Moore accused her of having an affair, she lunged and nearly hit the former beauty queen before being dragged out of the restaurant by Porsha Williams. -
'RHOA's' Claudia Jordan Loves Strong Women, Insists She's Not Jealous of Porsha Williams
Claudia Jordan might be the new kid on the block when it comes to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but that certainly doesn't mean that she's a wallflower. In just a few short episodes Jordan has called NeNe Leakes out in a way that no other lady has dared to do and then there's that ongoing mess with Porsha Williams that seems to have taken on a life of its' own. After being declared one of the most hated housewives currently airing, Jordan finally took to her Bravo blog to reassure people that she's not at all jealous of Williams. -
'RHOA's' Phaedra Parks Is Furious That Her Costars Keep Spreading Affair Rumors
You better believe that Phaedra Parks is not at all happy with the story that is about to totally unravel on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The current footage was filmed shortly before Parks' soon-to-be-ex-husband, Apollo Nida turned himself in to begin serving an 8 year prison sentence for fraud and he seemed determined to destroy her as a parting gift. At the time, Nida was telling anyone that would listen that his wife was having an affair rather than supporting him through his self-induced legal troubles. -
'RHOA' Apollo Nida's Jailhouse Paychecks Are Now Being Garnered to Pay Restitution
Apollo Nida has been locked up since September on various fraud charges, and while the "RHOA" star is looking at eight ears behind bars, he still has been making a nice income. He has been getting paid for his appearances on the reality show and he also has been hoping that his fitness brand will prosper, leaving him with a nice financial cushion once he is finally released. Unfortunately, the U.S. government seems to have a different idea for his jailhouse paychecks: restitution.
