Alabama Shakes have been announced as the next musical guest on Saturday Night Live for the Feb. 28 episode. Fittingly ahead of their second album, this will be the band's second musical appearance on show, and it comes almost exactly two years from their February 2013 performance. The band will join host Dakota Johnson, star of the Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation. -

Former cast members like Jimmy Fallon and some of music's finest gathered for an after-party at the Plaza Hotel to celebrate a little longer. Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney -- who were both a part of the "SNL 40" show -- and Prince performed, much to the delight of everyone in the building. The festivities died down around 4 a.m., "Consequence of Sound" reported. -
