    For music fans, summer is festival season. All across the world, the best artists head out and perform together on the some of the biggest stages across the globe. On the other end of the spectrum are the smaller single-day festivals that combine some well-known acts with smaller, up-and-coming artists. These events come at a better price point and are much easier to plan for. Atlanta's One Muscfest is one of these for hip-hop heads, bringing together some of the best in rap alongside some of the best new talent the genre has to offer all under one roof for one day in the beginning of September. His performance was flawless and he ended the performance by dropping the microphone and exiting the stage. It was, truly, one of the best musical performances from a politician that we've ever seen, but mayors-on-the-mic is all the rage recently, perhaps inspired by Barack Obama and his many soulful appearances. The latest person to take a crack at the melodic hip-hop track is global superstar Ed Sheeran, who teamed up with The Roots to cover "Trap Queen" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
