    With little sunlight left in the sky, Omarion opened Hot 97's annual concert Summer Jam around 6:30 p.m. and as a spotty crowd arrive, the former B2K member- turned-Love and Hip Hop Hollywood reality star warmed the crowd up to his old and new hits with MMG. Although, still mellow, the crowd quickly turned their moods way up once he began performing "Post To Be" and decided to play Jhene Aiko's verse just for his female fans, who burst out her signature line, "Eat the booty like groceries" before ending his set with his newest single, "I'm that N*gga."

The ultimate contest, of course, is which country has better taste. Last month the win went to the UK in the best-of-five showdown.     On Sunday, the biggest pop stars in the world descended on the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the Billboard Music Awards, which celebrates those who have achieved the best in the charts. There were a whole host of different performances by the likes of Van Halen, Wiz Khalifa, Ed Sheeran and more, but a few have made headlines beyond that night. People have scratched their heads over the censorship that occurred during Kanye's set and perhaps more under the radar, but newly reported by Vice's Thump, is a potential theft of intellectual property by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj. The pair performed their hit single, "Hey Mama," and some of the background installations look almost identical to those of a Burning Man art installation known as the HYBYCOZO series.

    Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa are two of the biggest rappers in the world. Weezy has accomplished a little more than Wiz, but both have had multiple number one hits and sold countless albums. Now they are taking their talents away from front of stage to a little further back into the DJ booth according to TMZ. According to the report, both Wiz and Weezy were inspired to take up the profession, which according to the new EDM film "We Are Your Friends" only takes a laptop, some talent and one song, by Snoop Dogg, who performs under the name DJ Snoopadelic.

    Kanye West closed the Billboard Music Awards this weekend with a medley of hits but audiences at home didn't get to hear much at all due to the ceremonies overexcited censors. Or at least the rapper commented Tuesday that his set, which included "All Day" and "Black Skinhead," was handled with undue caution.
