Coachella 2015: AC/DC, Jack White and Drake Rumored to be Headlining April Festival

The 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is about five months away, and the rumor mill on who will headline is already turning. AC/DC, Jack White and Drake are all current favorites to show up at the festival as long as they accept the invitations, Hits Daily Double notes. The website also claims that organizer Paul Tollett of Goldenvoice has standing offers of $8 million out to Led Zeppelin, The Talking Heads, The Smiths and the original Guns N' Roses to appear at the festival.

Coachella's lineup for 2014, which included OutKast, Arcade Fire and The Replacements, among others, was announced in the beginning of January, so we still have about a month to go until a concrete roster is in place. AC/DC and Jack White would be appearing behind new releases while Drake is just an all-around favorite for festivals. It's all rumors though, so you never know what could happen in a month.

AC/DC will be launching a world tour soon, having just released its 15th studio effort, Rock or Bust, on Tuesday (Dec. 2). The group has had a rough go about things in recent months. Malcolm Young, the band's longtime rhythm guitarist and brother to axeman Angus, retired from the band after announcing his battle with dementia. Drummer Phil Rudd was then charged with trying to hire a hitman last month in addition to threatening to kill and drug possession. The murder-for-hire charge was dropped, and the percussionist recently pled not guilty to the remaining legal woes.

Jack White is riding high on the success of his second solo album, Lazaretto. He recently ended a tour, but unfortunately he lost a band member along the way. Keyboardist Isaiah "Ikey" Owens was found dead in his hotel room in Mexico during the jaunt. He was 40 years old.

Drake's last release came out in 2013. He was recently featured on Nicki Minaj's single "Only."
