Coachella Tweets Drop 83 Percent During Weekend Two (Because of Nicki Minaj and DMX?)
Coachella's second weekend featured a massive drop off in social media mentions, despite being an easy sell-out, like the first weekend. NBA Playoffs 2015: Ludacris To Introduce Players, Perform At Atlanta Hawks Game 2 Against Nets
It is April and that means one thing - playoffs. This month kicks off playoffs both for the National Hockey League and for the National Basketball Association. Both aren't immune to brining out the stars and celebrities to help garner some public support and put more people in the seats, though the NBA is much more prone to using this marketing technique (see the Celebrity game during All-Star Weekend). Despite having the second best record in the whole league, the Atlanta hawks still had trouble getting people in the seats on a nightly basis. They first called upon Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz for a day where he performed several times and introduced the players, while also creating some awkwardly funny online videos for the team. Now Ludacris has the honor of performing during Game 2 of their Hawk's series against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday in Atlanta. -

Europe's First Techno Museum Set to Open in Frankfurt
Modern Germany has been known for its affinity for techno. As the wall was coming down and communism receded from Eastern Europe, Berliners were united after 24 years of separation and techno helped spur this along. Now the country is getting its own techno museum in Frankfurt. Industrial DJ Andreas Tomalla, known professionally as TALLA 2XLC, is setting up the new cultural center dubbed The Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM). Tomalia is often credited with inventing the word techno, though the sound came from the Belleville Three (Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins) and helped start some of the first parties in city during the 1980s. He hopes to open the museum doors in 2017 on the premises of the city's Childrens Museum and is only using private funding.
