Snoop plays a fictionalized version of himself on the show, and in the teaser, he is shown at a press conference with Terrence Howard's character, Lucious Lyon, as they prepare to announce that Uncle Snoop is making a switch over to the Empire Records roster. -

But now, the producers on the film are saying that the "Energy" rapper actually signed a contract for the film and is now only battling them over money. This could all possibly wind up in a $15 million libel lawsuit. -
