As previously reported, Mumford & Sons are going a different direction on their third album, Wilder Mind. They are trading in their banjo-driven acoustic sound for something more electric. The new 12-track album was recorded at Air Studios, London and produced by James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, HAIM, Florence + The Machine) with a number of the songs written in Aaron Dessner's (The National) garage studios in Brooklyn. -
Jack White Paid HOW Much for Elvis Acetate Pressing for Record Store Day Reproduction from Third Man Records?
Jack White has revealed that he was the buyer of Elvis Presley's first record, and he plans on sharing it with fans as a special Record Store Day release from Third Man Records. The 1953 acetate features two songs, "My Happiness" and "That's When Your Heartaches Begin." The record was bought at auction for $300,000—three-times as much as it was expected to fetch—and the guitarist would later reveal himself as the buyer. -
Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys Announces Summer Tour in Support of New Album 'No Pier Pressure' [DATES]
Brian Wilson is in for a big year, releasing his new album Now Pier Pressure, having a mini-music festival run in his honor ("Brian Fest") and even a biopic is in the works. Now the former/current Beach Boys frontman has announced a tour in support of the new record. Wilson will kick off his jaunt mid-June from Saratoga, CA and loop the country to end up in Seattle by early July. -

Count me among those who worship at the altar of indie rocker Ryan Adams. He is quite simply one of the best when it comes to doing an amazing cover of classic songs. From Oasis's "Wonderwall" to Alice in Chains's "Down in a Hole" and so many in between, he never fails to impress. During a live show Tuesday, March 3, in Cork, Ireland, Adams and opening act Natalie Prass took on a classic from the soundtrack to 1980s classic 'Dirty Dancing.' No, it wasn't "(I've Had) the Time of My Life," as you might expect, but instead leading man Patrick Swayze's song "She's Like the Wind." It was everything you could have hoped for and more. -

So 50 Cent stopped by 'The Breakfast Club' earlier this week to talk about everything G-Unit, but the conversation ended up shifting a bit. The rapper shed some light on his strained relationship with Dr. Dre, saying he no longer considers himself friends with the Beats Electronics co-founder. He also shared a story about Suge Knight from the 1990s. The "In Da Club" rapper explained that when there were rumblings of Tupac Shakur wanting to leave Death Row Records, Knight started to think about how he could get more money for the iconic artist to stay, 'HipHopDX' noted. This time around, they are taking a page from Taylor Swift's book and looking to the world of pop for inspiration. In an new interview with CMT's Cody Alan, the country trio revealed that they've been working with hit producer Pharrell Williams on new music.
