Skrillex has teamed with "Vice's" The Creators Project, known in the electronic music world for their work doing profiles on the Daft Punk "Random Access Memories" collaborators, to present his latest music video. The video revives possibly the least-heralded song "Doompy Poomp" from Sonny Moore's LP "Recess" in the manner one might expect Skrillex to do. Fittingly released on Groundhog Day, the 3 minute 18 second video celebrates the 1993 film starring Bill Murray, where the main character has the same life events happen to him over and over without fail. -

Fool's Gold Records Co-Founder Dust La Rock, real name Joshua Prince, is dead. He was just 38-years-old. Prince co-founded the influential hip-hop and electronic music label Fool's Gold Records with A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs and worked as the art director and designer for the label, A-Trak and his Duck Sauce projects. He also did work for other artists as well. He was responsible for building the image that Fools Gold developed and its album release and physical designs. He also did work for major brands like Nike and Scion. -

Suge Knight's Bail Is Revoked: Death Row Records CEO Will Appear in Court Tuesday
The $2.2 million bail initially set for hip-hop mogul Suge Knight has been revoked, Billboard notes. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department considers the former Death Row Records CEO a flight risk after charging him for allegedly murdering a man in a hit-and-run incident last week. The department also cited his criminal past and the possibility of him being a flight risk.
