Legendary Toronto music venue Guvernment opened its doors to customers and performers for the last time on Sunday night, Jan. 25 and the man to say farewell to the venue was fittingly Toronto native, deadmau5. Deadmau5 had been hyping up his set in the several weeks leading up to the occasion, noting the historic night and hinting at a few of the tricks he had up his sleeve for the night. One of the most talked about ideas from Joel Zimmerman was a 20-minute live edit of his beloved song "Strobe," which he would premiere at the venue. -

Big Sean took over social media and the internet as a whole outside of the panicked Northeastern United States when he started cryptically posting on twitter and Instagram about a project Dark Sky Paradise, noting it was "done." He also managed to get a slew of other artists like Drake, Kanye West, Travi$ Scott, Jhené Aiko, DJ Mustard and others to post the same picture on their Instagrams as well. The "IDFWU" rapper continues the steady stream of information and has posted a link to his website that includes a trailer and release date. He also revealed on Twitter that new music was coming this week. -

Dope, a movie starring A$AP Rocky that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, reportedly secured a distribution deal for $7 million. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Open Road Films beat out The Weinstein Company for the film, which also features Zoë Kravitz and Blake Anderson of Workaholics. There's been a decent amount of buzz coming from Park City, Utah, about the movie. -
Faith No More Announces Spring Tour Along With New Song 'Superhero' From 'Album of the Year' Follow-Up
It's been 18 years since Faith No More released their sixth studio effort, the completely vicious Album of the Year. The band is readying the follow-up album, and they are also hitting the road for the first time in five years this spring. Faith No More will kick off their next trek in Vancouver on April 15 and wrap things up a month later in Philadelphia. "Superhero," the second single from the band's untitled album, will drop in March. -

Bobby Shmurda Speaks From Jail On Migos' "Computer (Freestyle)" Off Upcoming 'Shmigo Gang' Mixtape
Last month, Migos and Bobby Shmurda's GS9 crew announced a joint mixtape called Shmigo Gang, which will feature music from both Migos and their affiliates as well as Shmurda and his affiliates. Now the first two songs off the project have leaked. The first, Migos' "Computer (Freestyle)," was recorded behind bars and features Shmurda on the intro and Rowdy Rebel on the outro. The second cut is a Rich the Kid solo track called "What you Talmbout." -
