The party had a star-studded attendance list of important names in the industry, including the film's star Ellen Page, Tobey Maguire, Sara Gilbert, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Jakob Dylan and even Love's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. The song that inspired the party in the first place, "Hands of Love," is in the running for an Oscar nod for best original song. But Love was only one of the celebrity covers. -

Lady Gaga did a stirring rendition of "Til It Happens to You," a song co-written with Diane Warren for the documentary 'The Hunting Ground,' which focuses on the rampant sexual assaults that occurs on college campuses, at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. The film was intended to bring awareness and inspire the powers that be to do more in order to prevent these assaults and stop the victim blaming culture that is far to familiar.
