More details are starting to emerge from the carnage of the terror attacks in Paris with each passing hour. The most brutal and deadly scene was inside Le Bataclan, where California rock band Eagles of Death Metal were performing a concert. The identities of the nearly 90 dead at the concert hall have started to become public and as one might sadly expect, members of the music industry were affected. In addition to Eagles of Death Metal's British merchandise seller, Nick Alexander, a music journalist for French publication, Les InRocks was killed in addition several record label employees. -

Indie folk-rock band Mumford & Sons are heading back out on the road next April to continue supporting their May 2015 album release, Wilder Mind. The upcoming tour, 'An Arrow Through the Heartland' will hit major cities in the American South and the Midwest. Pre-sale tickets for Mumford & Sons went on sale November 12 via Ticketmaster. Some tickets have already hit the secondary market, and are rising fast, where they are averaging $203 across all of the scheduled tour dates. -

Paris Attacks: Bataclan Releases Statement "Our Thoughts Are With The Victims"
Humanity was rocked over the weekend by the horrific and barbaric attacks on six different locations in Paris, including Stade de France, where an international friendly was being played between France and Germany and Bataclan where the Eagles of Death Metal were playing a concert. The Bataclan was the hardest hit, where nearly 90 innocent concertgoers were slaughtered and many more injured. The concert hall has released its first statement since the shooting. -

President Barack Obama Says He Is Not Lead Singer of Korn: Jonathan Davis Agrees
During a recent Medal Of Honor ceremony taking place in the White House on Thursday (November 12) honoring Florent Groberg, U.S. President Barack Obama confirmed his identity to attendees by saying that he is not the lead singer of Korn. The POTUS jokingly referencing an earlier incident where, during the early stages of Groberg's recovery, the heavy metal band's frontman Jonathan Davis actually visited the award recipient in the hospital, who had later been unsure that the meet ever took place.
