• Two Killed by Gunfire at OVO Fest After-Party Hosted by Drake

    The music at Drake's annual OVO Fest was pretty excellent, but like with many other music festivals, incidents off the stage have distracted from the main event. Two people were killed and another three were in critical condition following a shooting at the festival's official after party.

    Jill Scott took advantage of a slower (if more competitive) week of album sales, coming in at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the second time in a row with her album 'Woman.' Although she can be please with the second no. 1 record in her career, the 62,000 equivalent copies she sold of her new set is less than half of what 'The Light Of The Sun' sold in its first week during 2011. 'Woman' marks the first no. 1 for a solo female performer in nearly five months.

    Last night Hard Summer, Hard Events' biggest festival on land, came to a close with about 60,000 in attendance at the Fairplex in Ponoma, California. The superduo of Skrillex and Diplo, better known as Jack Ü closed out the festival on the main stage and made the most of the opportunity. The pair are known to bring out special guests from time to time - as we saw with their performance at Ultra Music Festival - and they may have topped it all last night.

    Chris Brown has found himself in more baby mama drama. Nia Guzman, the mother of his baby girl Royalty, has applied for full custody of their one-year-old daughter. If granted, Brown would only be able to see his daughter on supervised visits but the "Liquor" singer plans to fight Guzman's request.

    Afrojack has released the music video to "SummerThing!", his new single with Mike Taylor. The video takes the "Ten Feet Tall" DJ off the festival stages, he has inhabited this summer, and his Los Angeles and Amsterdam studios and out into the desert of the Western United States with a large group of young, attractive co-eds to party.
