Producer, DJ and social media comedian Dillon Francis has officially unveiled the details for his much-discussed EP that has been in the works for most of the year. The 7-track EP humorously titled This Mixtape Is Fire after all of the fire mixtape memes around the web features some of the biggest names in electronic music and coincidentally those who are also high up in Francis' Rolodex. Skrillex, Calvin Harris and Chromeo are among the DJs featured on the EP. -

Survived Memorial Day Weekend? Good because you have a full summer ahead of you filled with various music events all across the country. Festivals like Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands all command attention, but heading to smaller niche ones will be more then enough for a weekend escape. One such festival is Moonrise Festival, formerly known as Starscape, which will feature some of the names in electronic music. The two headliners will be Bassnectar and Above & Beyond, with additional major acts like Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis, The Glitch Mob and Big Gigantic also on the bill. -

New Jersey's Electric Adventure has announced the 2015 lineup of DJs and artists who will be heading down to Atlantic City to perform this summer. The two day-festival, dubbed Bloom, will host names like Pretty Lights, Dillon Francis, G-Eazy, A-Trak, Ty Dolla $ign, Dannic, Kid Ink, Tritonal and many others. The surprisingly diverse bill will make for a very interesting crowd that may come for the trance, the hip-hop or the trap. -

Calvin Harris took to Twitter yesterday, April 14, to announce that his collaboration with Dillon Francis was finished. Francis has been teasing a possible collaboration with the "Outside" producer over the past few months on social media, and now fans have a definitive confirmation the track is happening. The Scottish producer made the announcement with a hazy picture of Barney the Dinosaur, for some reason or another. -
Kygo Gives Away Dillon Francis Collaboration at Coachella 2015 in USB Sticks
Coachella is a place where a lot of artists like to do something different and perform unreleased music. Tropical house producer, DJ Kygo performed on Sunday night at 11 p.m in the Mojave tent and performed his oft-requested collaboration with Dillon Francis "Coming Over." The "Firestone" producer brought out vocalist James Hersey to sing the track live. During the performance, Kygo threw 20 USBs with the track loaded onto into the crowd for fans to keep. -

Dillon Francis and DJ Snake's single "Get Low" just got a hip-hop remix from hot up-and-comers Rae Sremmurd. The "No Type" rappers hopped on the tune from the "Set Me Free" and "Turn Down for What" DJs, adding a party-starting verse in the build of the Middle Eastern-influenced club record. The pair wisely implored listeners to be kind to each other, saying in their measured tempo "don't throw shade, throw parties" before shrilly speeding things up as the track crescendos into the drop. -

Eric Prydz has unveiled the next single that will be released from his massive treasure trove of unreleased IDs. "Generate" is the second release from Prydz after his remix for CHVRCHES "Tether" dropped last month and immediately shot up to the top of the Beatport charts.
