Many businessmen and promoters are looking to make a buck off the trend, but one the producers themselves are definitely cashing in, as Forbes' list of the highest paid DJ's indicates. Calvin Johnson topped the list for 2013, bringing in more than $46 million (a total that topped Jay Z's earnings for the year). -

Following in the steps of his entire Music Mondays series, the five new tracks on "Journals" feature heavy R&B influences while each maintaining an original vibe. -

On Monday (Dec. 9), which was supposed to be the last installation of Justin Bieber's Music Mondays series, the teen idol announced that there was even more music on the way. Bieber revealed that a full-length album entitled Journals will be released on Monday, Dec. 16, and will feature all the 10 previously released tracks and five new ones, featuring artists such as Lil Wayne and Future. Today (Dec. 12), Bieber revealed the five song titles as well as what rapper will guest on which song. -

As with everything else it seems, the rash of drug-related deaths at recent electronic music events has been blown out of proportion by the media, at least according to Diplo and Jillionaire of dance group Major Lazer. There were two deaths and several hospitalizations due to overdoses at the Electric Zoo festival in New York City two weeks ago, following the death of a fan from overdose at a Zedd concert in Boston. -
