Norwegian tropical house standard bearer Kygo — real name Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll — recently went on Norwegian-Swedish talk show "Skavlan" to sit down for an interview and play an acoustic rendition his new single "Firestone" featuring the vocals of Australian singer Conrad. Kygo goes full acoustic for the program, led by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan, fingering the melody on a grand piano as Conrad shines as the leading artist on this acoustic cover, while a percussionist makes his presence felt with soft taps and crashes on a set of cymbals with mallets. Kygo then sits down to have a chat with Skavlan in Norwegian about his career and recent success. -
CounterPoint Festival 2015 Lineup: Kygo, Dillon Francis, Knife Party, Zedd and More Included
Just when you thought the festival lineup announcements were over, CounterPoint Music & Arts Festival decides to make its announcement to try and get in on the action. Taking place in the grassy fields of Kingston Downs, Georgia, CounterPoint will host a wide variety of different EDM and jam band acts, with some curve balls from R&B and hip-hop included as well. Headlining the festival will be Zedd, The Roots, Kygo, Knife Party, Dillon Francis, Widespread Panic and Zeds Dead.Further lineup additions include RL Grime, Brodinski, Cherub, What So Not, Chet Faker, iLoveMakonnen, Lettuce, Thomas Jack, Gorgon City and others.The 2015 edition will move from April to May and take place May 22 to 24. The Georgia landscape plays host to two of the bookending dance music festivals during the summer season with TomorrowWorld arriving the last weekend of September just a short drive away in Chatahoochee Hills.2015 looks to build on a lineup from 2014 that included OutKast on their festival world tour, Pretty Lights, Foster the People, Above & Beyond, A-Trak, Janelle Monae, Run the Jewels, Major Lazer, J. "Firestone" featuring 300-signed Australian singer Conrad will be released according to Dancing Astronaut on Dec. 2 exclusively via Spotify. The preview is included in a recap video for the last leg of his "Endless Summer" tour with sold out shows in New York City and Los Angeles, while having him discuss the making of the track, how his time on tour was and what he has coming up. -

Starting later this month, Chicago’s Chance The Rapper will be headlining the Verge Campus tour, which will take him to 18 college campuses across the country, Pitchfork reports. Though a few of the shows are private (including dates in California, Texas, New Jersey, and New York), most of them are open to the public.
