This year, the Grammys honored the founding fathers of the rock genre. Led Zeppelin won Best Rock Album for Celebration Day after never picking up a Grammy during their creative peak. Black Sabbath, as expected, took home Best Metal Performance for "God Is Dead?" Best Rock Song went to the super group, unofficially dubbed "Sirvana," made up of Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for their song "Cut Me Some Slack." Imagine Dragons represented the new guard with its Best Rock Performance win, and Vampire Weekend picked up Best Alternative Album for Modern Vampires of the City. -

Although he made it clear that there won't be a Led Zeppelin reunion in 2014, John Paul Jones has another project underway to keep him busy this year. According to FACT Magazine, Jones and Norwegian dark ambient artist Helge Sten (the man behind Deathprod), have teamed up for a collaboration project under the name Minibus Pimps. -

Led Zeppelin's reissue campaign is finally beginning this year, according to guitarist Jimmy Page (via Ultimate Classic Rock). Page recently updated his website with the message "The first of the Led Zeppelin reissues — comprising of Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin III — will be released this year. I've also been working on some of my own material from the archives that will be unleashed in 2014." -
