If you haven't read the news, music sales are down across nearly every format (aside from vinyl), and this has reflected in new releases too, even with some of the biggest stars. What the industry needed was a good Black Friday to boost sales. And boost did it ever. -

Despite only having a month left in 2013, Lil’ Kim wants her fans to hold tight for her Hard Core 2k 13 mixtape. “I just want to make U guys happy..please standby. #HARDCOREPLAYLIST 3 bonus tracks included! I love U guys!” According to the image she attached to the post, the reason for the delay is that Miley Cyrus will be featured on her track “Bad B*tch.” To ease her anxious fans, she also shared two other bonus tracks. -
Eminem's 'The Monster' and Lorde's 'Royals' still biggest names on Digital Downloads Charts
Album sales may have been down over on the Billboard 200, but singles downloads continued to be hot over on the Digital Downloads charts. The Top 10 sold a combined 5,000 more downloads than last week-a slight rise-but still impressive considering the recent increase in mp3 sales. -

Will.i.am is definitely feeling himself, and has enlisted superstar Miley Cyrus alongside Wiz Khalifa and French Montana for a new music video and single, fittingly titled "Feelin' Myself." The collaborative track was released on will.i.am's VEVO page Tuesday Nov. 26 and, of course, it features some quasi-rapping, minimalistic beats and the inevitable twerking. -

News has already broken that Lady Gaga's ARTPOP will debut at no. 1 in the U.K. charts, and there's a solid chance it will do the same in the United States. That doesn't mean that the album can be considered a success however. Estimates, which will become officials first week totals on Wednesday, suggest that ARTPOP will sell around 250,000 copies and lose Interscope Records a lot of money in the process. -
