Yesterday, Oct. 27, grunge legends Soundgarden shared a new song titled "Storm," their first new song since their 2012 album King Animal. Today, "Consequence of Sound" reported that "Storm" will appear on an upcoming three-disc rarities compilation titled "Echo of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across the Path," which will feature seven previously unreleased tracks. -

Soundgarden dropped a new single — "Storm" — Sunday night, Oct. 26, and nobody knew it was coming. Riding high off an appearance with Pearl Jam over the weekend to reprise Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike," Chris Cornell and the boys surprised fans with a throwback cut that will sacrifice radio play for its old-school, "Badmotorfinger" feel. -

The Bridge School Benefit will continue this year despite yearly headliner Neil Young having filed for divorce from Pegi Young, the co-founder of the Bridge School. Now two students from the school have announced the lineup via a YouTube video (see below). This year's event will include Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Florence + The Machine, Tom Jones, Soundgarden, Norah Jones' new group Puss N Boots, and Band of Horses. Pegi Young, who fronts her own band the Survivors, will also perform. -
