Fun Fun Fun Fest was just that Saturday, Nov. 8, when El-P and Mark Kozelek met prior to sets by Run the Jewels and Sun Kil Moon.Here was the encounter from El-P's perspective, according to Stereogum:"So I introduced myself and said, 'Hey, I'm a fan. We're the guys that are going to be interrupting your set today with how f--king loud our crowd is.' [...] And he said, 'What's your name?' And I said, 'Run the Jewels,' and — I swear to God — he said, 'Suck my d--k, Run the Jewels.' And I said, 'Suck my d--k, Sun Kil Moon.' And I'm actually a fan of this dude's record."El-P then asked the crowd to chant, "Suck my d--k, Sun Kil Moon." Before moving onto the next song, El-P reiterated, "We mean that with all due respect. Sun Kil Moon Shares 'Adam Granofsky Blues, Continues Feud with War on Drugs
The saga continues. Just one day after War on Drugs frontman Adam Granduciel finally addressed his bizarre feud with Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon in an interview with "Songs for Whoever," calling him an "idiot," a "prick" and a "douche," among other things, Kozelek shared a new song titled "Adam Granofsky Blues" — Granofsky being Granduciel's actual last name. In this new song, Kozelek reads Granduciel's quotes about the situation over some blues guitar licks, laughing hysterically between each line. -
