Yet another new performer to top the Billboard 200 as Twenty One Pilots takes the top spot with Blurryface, which sold more than 147,000 equivalent units. That makes the Columbus, OH-based alt group the seventh act to top the charts for the first time during 2015 (including bigger bands such as Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons). -

Taylor Swift fans already know that "Bad Blood," the most recent single from Taylor Swift's 1989, has been tearing up YouTube thanks to a music video starring Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Ellie Goulding and a multitude of others. That sort of hype helped it grab the record for most views in a 24-hour period on VEVO, taking the prize from Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda." 'Pitch Perfect 2' might not have a "Cups" yet (technically Anna Kendrick does perform her song on the new soundtrack but it's not a Hot 100 smash anymore) but it still managed something that the previous film's song collection didn't: topping the albums charts. The record, boosted by medleys featuring dozens of hit songs, won the sales battle this week by moving 91,000 copies. -

Another week and another soundtrack atop the Billboard 200, as the song collection from 'Pitch Perfect 2' grabs the no. 1 spot by moving 107,000 equivalent albums sold. The original film's soundtrack peaked at no. 3 on the Billboard 200, although its single "Cups" was a smash on the download charts. The current film already out-earned the first installment, which brought additional attention to the album as well. -
