The album topped the Billboard 200 with more than 147,000 equivalent copies sold, just two weeks after the album was announced. It's been a little more than a year since he released Honest, and he more than doubled the sales of that effort. The quick-release method has helped other rappers Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill get to the top of the charts as well during 2015. -

Tyrese may not have actually contributed to the soundtrack for 'Furious 7' (which spent multiple weeks atop the Billboard 200) but the R&B vocalist did benefit from his role in the film, as 'Black Rose' topped the albums chart by selling 65,000 copies.
