According to "Billboard," Stephanie Barnett and Swift met on social media years ago and stayed in touch. Now Taylor Swift decided to make the relationship more personal by paying a visit to the mom and her 2-year old son, Leyton.According to "NBC Connecticut," Taylor Swift came bearing gifts for Leyton, including a toddler-sized Mercedes.

Now Swift's label boss, Scott Borchetta, is claiming in an interview with TIME that last year his label only made $496,044 from her domestic Spotify streams, a number drastically smaller than what Elk suggested they could expect this year. According to a Spotify representative, the global payout last year was $2 million.
