Stream Galantis Debut Album 'Pharmacy' Ahead of Summer Tour
The Swedish producer/DJ duo of Christian Karlsson (also known as the prolific pop producer and writer, Bloodshy) and member of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw, known by his other DJ persona, Style Of Eye, has released their debut album, 'Pharmacy' on Big Beat Records. The 13-track LP contains four previously released tracks, "Gold Dust," "You," the funky "Peanut Butter Jelly" and the growing hit, "Runaway (U&I)." -
Ultra Europe 2015 Lineup Phase 2: Hardwell, Dash Berlin, Solomun Added
The global run of Ultra Music Festivals is getting set to kick off after a moment-packed, albeit rainy Miami edition at the end of March. Two Southern Hemisphere Ultras took place in South Africa and Buenos Aires in February, but this summer will be the EDM festival brand's busiest yet. The biggest event for Ultra this summer will take place in Split, Croatia for the three-day European edition of its festival. They announced the first wave of acts who will be headlining the event in January and now Ultra Europe has rounded out the lineup with additions like Hardwell, Dash Berlin, Solomun, Jamie Jones, Sasha and many more. -
Ultra Music Festival Could Face Trouble Due to Toxins Found at Bayfront Park
The Ultra Music Festival's ability to host an event at Bayfront Park in Miami may be at risk and for once it's not the fault of the event itself or its attendees. Although Ultra was under a watchful eye after a drug-related death during the 2014 event, now it seems that an entirely different kind of toxin might be in play: The area has been labelled a "poison park" after the discovery of arsenic in the soil. -

He premiered teased some new demos at Future Music Festival in Australia in March, but the stage was ripe for Avicii to make a statement at Ultra Music Festival by premiering a whole host of new music. Global Dance Music Industry Valued At $6.2 Billion According To New Study
The dance music industry has seen an unprecedented era of growth over the past few years globally, but more specifically in North America. According to a new study by Danceonomics presented at the recent IMS Conference in Los Angeles, the global market can be valued at $6.2 billion, while the North American market swelled to 30 percent of that at $1.9 billion. The study took into account revenue drawn from music sales and streams, festival and club income and other DJ-centric sources including like Soundcloud and DJ technology. -

Ultra Music Festival 2015: Fewer Arrests & Felonies Reported This Year
Ultra Music Festival 2015 wrapped up Sunday night with a surprise guest-laden performance from American bass don Skrillex that included Diddy, Kiesza, Diplo and Justin Bieber. By all accounts, the festival was a success and the police numbers that have been released appear to back that up. Arrests were down in 2015, compared to 2014, from 84 to 76 with a sharp decline in felonies down from 31 to 20 according to data from the Miami PD via the Miami New Times. -

As they normally do, the festival leaves the tired attendees with one final gift as they trudge off the grounds: the dates for next year's event. Ultra Music Festival 2016 will take place a little earlier than it usually does, as the three-day electronic music event moves to the third weekend in March. Normally, UMF is the last weekend of March with Miami Music Week leading up to it, but the festival has decided to move the event up a week and do it March 18 to 20. -

Eric Prydz Previews 'Generate' - 'Tether' Producer Announces Single Ahead of Upcoming Album [LISTEN]
Eric Prydz has unveiled the next single that will be released from his massive treasure trove of unreleased IDs. The "Every Day" producer has previewed the long-awaited "Generate" in full on his soundcloud prior to its release through his own label, Pryda Friends, on April 13. "Generate" is the second release from Prydz after his remix for CHVRCHES "Tether" dropped last month and immediately shot up to the top of the Beatport charts.
