Waka Flocka Flame has been making some interesting appearances lately. Whether it is Funny or Die spots or throat lozenge commercials, Waka has shown his versatility outside the studio. He made a quick visit with Jason Probst and the team behind the successful Minecraft Universe YouTube account dedicated to the incredibly successful computer game Minecraft. Stopping in between shows on the #Toat2k15 tour in California with DJ Whoo Kid, novice Minecraft player Waka tried his hand at the game and seemed rather amused by the whole thing with a character swagged out with a gold chain, as much as one can be as a boxy character, from head to toe. -

Detroit R&B singer, Maejor, has shared the music video for his new single, "Get You Alone" featuring Jeremih, which you can check out here. The video is pretty straightforward with Maejor singing the song near a hot tub while girls in bikinis smear glow in the dark paint over his body. Jeremih makes an appearance in the song's second half (it actually comes off like a completely different song entirely, which is pretty cool), singing/rapping about being "a fat kid for that fat ass," so you know this guy's a sweetheart. -
Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka Go EDM In Borgeous & Whoo Kid's "Toast" Video [WATCH]
Last month, EDM producer Borgeous recruited rappers Wiz Khalifa and Waka Flocka and hip-hop producer Whoo Kid for "Toast," and today (Dec. 30), the song's music video has been shared, which you can check out below. The video incoporates Borgeous live performance footage alongside glitchy images of Wiz and Waka rapping (though "chanting about partying" is a more accurate description of what they're doing). According to Hot New Hip-Hop, the video was put together by Dan The Man and Kirill Was Here, and features footage filmed at the University of Illinois and New York's Pacha nightclub. -

While much of the music world was focused on the American Music Awards with all of its star power and big performances, it might have been easy to miss one of the many commercials that happened during the broadcast. Pine Brothers, the throat lozenges company, decided to try and break the Internet on their own by tabbing Waka Flocka Flame to be their next spokesman in a hilarious commercial.Waka manages to turn something as benign as cough drops into pure comedic genius with subtle facial gestures and how he reads off the ingredients, like "Imported Gum Acacia."Waka finishes the commercial by saying, "So next time you need soar throat relief [looking guiltily at the plume of suspicious-looking steam rising next to him], for whatever reason, take your Pine Brothers. This is a lesson in how to market a product and build buzz around something that is otherwise pretty bland."Waka has been getting into some comedic sketches lately. This is his latest effort, but he recently sifted through 60,000 applications to be his personal blunt roller after offering the job online with a salary of $50,000. This may be his biggest spot yet, with millions of viewers watching the AMAs. EDM kings Skrillex and Diplo reportedly worked with Justin Bieber, producing a new album by the pop star and giving it an electronic makeover. DJ SKEE broke the news on his Weekend Update show for Dash Radio, saying some disc jockeys sat in on an exclusive listening event of the album."It's supposed to be really, really dope, crossing over a few different formats," SKEE says in the video below, via YourEDM. "They're saying a lot of people who aren't feeling Bieber or wouldn't necessarily like that record are going to be caught off guard by that. So, shout out to Skrillex and Diplo for just killing the game."The two artists, known as Jack U, have been talking about their collaborations with other acts lately, saying that they have been in the studio with Usher, Madonna, Nicki Minaj and A$AP Ferg, who have all hit the duo up for collaboration.
