He may be locked up, but Gucci Mane has not missed a beat when it comes to releasing music. GuWop recently shared the cover art for Trap House 5 and hinted at its release. Just last month, the Atlanta rapper released Trap God 3 and penned an open letter to fans.
In addition to the many solo projects he has been releasing, Gucci even squeezed in a collaborative mixtape with Chief Keef titled Big Gucci Sosa. Back in August, Gucci revealed his plan to drop eight new projects and he is sticking to his guns. He leaked the cover art for Trap House 5 via Twitter, as noted by XXL.
Gucci Mane released Trap House 4 in July and has since released I Am Trap, Trap God 3, The Return of Mr. Perfect, Brick Factory Vol. 2, Gucci Vs. Guwop and The Oddfather.
As previously announced, Trap House 5 is scheduled to drop on Black Friday, Nov. 28. He is also slated to drop a Christmas mixtape titled East Atlanta Santa.
Last month, Gucci released his Trap God 3 album. The album's release came after the incarcerated rapper shared "Start Pimpin'" and revisited his beef with Jeezy on "Speed Bumps."
He also penned an open letter to fans. In the letter obtained by MTV, he talks about sobriety, his future plans and striving for "something greater":
It feels great to see my plan take root and begin to blossom even though I'm physically incarcerated but spiritually and mentally I'm free as ever. I enjoy working out molding my body and I look forward to changing my diet for the better because I realize to get to the status I crave I must make a life-change which is permanent not a quick-fix.
GuWop is currently serving time for weapons chargers and is set to come home by 2016.
