Pixies Announce North American Tour Dates Including Shaky Knees Festival and Boston Calling
The Pixies, riding high off their April release, Indie Cindy, have announced a few North American tour dates for this May. The trek will take the band from New Orleans to Montebello, Quebec, with stops at the Shaky Knees Festival and Boston Calling also scheduled. Fans can expect to hear some new material from the band at the shows as well. -

The album, Hopelessness, will be released by Hegarty under the alias ANOHNI, according to a Facebook post from the performer. Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never will join the vocalist in producing the album. -
Idina Menzel Jokingly Botches John Travolta's Name at the Oscars for Payback From Last Year's 'Adele Dazeem'
One year ago, John Travolta absolutely botched Idina Menzel's name while introducing her to the stage at the Oscars. Last night, Feb. 22, the "Let It Go" singer got back at him, introducing the actor as "Glom Gazingo," 'Billboard' noted. The joke name was about as accurate as Travolta's infamous Adele Dazeem pronunciation. The audience had a nice laugh before the pair embraced and Travolta awkwardly touched Menzel's face -- see below. -

He took advantage of his good odds-two of the five nominations for the prize were in his name-to win his first Oscar in eight nominations.
