    Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky have both had what could possibly be the most successful year of their respective careers thus far and in doing so have decided to link up for a joint tour this fall that will probably be quite lit. Titled the "16 Day Trip," the 11-date tour will take the "See You Again" and A.L.L.A rappers across Western Europe for shows in the UK, France, Germany and elsewhere.
  • Rihanna Named RIAA Best Selling Singles Artist Of All Time

    Earlier today, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) declared that Rihanna is the highest selling singles artist in its history. The "BBHMM" singer became the first artist ever to ever cross the mind-boggling threshold of 100 million gold and platinum song certifications. Rihanna is a full 12 million ahead of her competition Taylor Swift, who has sold 88 million singles in the United States, followed by the "Bad Blood" singer's rival Katy Perry at 79 million.
  • Disclosure, Gregory Porter Share 'Holding On' Music Video [WATCH]

    Disclosure have shared the music video for their single "Holding On" with Grammy-award winning jazz singer and musician Gregory Porter, which will appear on their upcoming sophomore album Caracal. Disclosure and director Ryan Hope create a futuristic scene where a group of societal outcasts finds ways to deal with an oppressive militarized police force. This is just part one of four, so the plot is not developed yet, but Guy and Howard Lawrence have a nice story brewing.

    Kendrick Lamar released his complex and socially conscious album To Pimp A Butterfly back in March with influences of jazz, soul and funk sprinkled in with his artfully crafted, politically charged raps about the ills that he grew up and sees today in society. One of the tracks that highlights the struggle of where he grew up in the inner city of Los Angeles is "Alright" and today, K.Dot has unveiled the music video for the song, which targets police violence and brutality that has been a hot topic in the United States.
  • Apple Music, Kygo Partner for Launch with A-Ha 'Take On Me' Remix

    Apple Music at last pulled back the curtains and unveiled the product that everyone expects to try and compete with the current streaming giants like Pandora and Spotify. The reaction has been mixed so far, with complications regarding compatibility with iTunes and the use of mp3s. Apple Music has partnered with some of the biggest artists in music like The Weeknd, Pharrell and Puff Daddy to help present and support the platform, but they have turned to a trendy new artist who has made his living with streaming - Kygo. The partnership, which includes the producer splashed across the Apple Music homepage, will also premiere a new remix for the classic hit "Take On Me" from fellow Norwegian act a-Ha.

    Flume and Disclosure, two of the hottest dance acts in the world are taking over another UNESCO World Heritage site. This time they will head west to the white isle of Ibiza to put on another edition of Disclosure's Wild Life concert series at the 2,500 year-old medieval castle Dalt Vila right in Old Town Ibiza.
  • Gucci Mane Shares "Parking Lot," "Young N*ggas" From 'Trapology'

    Today, Gucci Mane has unveiled two of the biggest collaborations set to appear on his upcoming project Trapology, which will be released at midnight on July 2. With the two tracks, Gucci goes coastal tabbing West Coast hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg on "Parking Lot" and then nabs a pair of New York City area rappers Fetty Wap and Jadakiss for "Young N*ggas."
  • Bassnectar Releases Diverse 16-Track 'Into The Sun' Mixtape

    American bass don, Lorin Ashton, known professionally as Bassnectar has been hard at work this past year making loads of new music and he has at last released the mother lode in the form of a new mixtape titled Into The Sun. The diverse, 16-track project is heavy collaborations with various other producers and rappers with a few remixes sprinkled in for the likes of The Naked & Famous, David Heartbreak and Psymbionic & Of The Trees.
  • TomorrowWorld 2015 Lineup: Bassnectar, Kaskade, Porter Robinson Added

    The summer festival is well under way with multiple events happening each weekend across the glove. However, many electronic music fans have already circled on their calendar the end of September as their big destination with the third running of ID&T's largest North American EDM music festival, TomorrowWorld. Last month, the three-day event announced the first wave of artists who will headline the festival and today they have unveiled the second batch of artists who will head go down to Georgia in September.

    The dust has barely settled on his debut artist album Forever and Swedish producer, DJ phenom Alesso has already released another piece of material to remind fans of his stature in the EDM space. This time he steps back from the originals and moves back into remixing, a space he does not do that often, but when the "Sweet Escape" producer ventures, it is generally very successfully. This time he has been tabbed to remix Maroon 5's new hit "This Summer," that has been released as a single just in time for the warmer months of the season and adding a rework from Alesso makes perfect sense.
  • Puff Daddy Releases 'Finna Get Loose' Featuring Pharrell

    After years of focusing on being on of the most successful hip-hop entrepreneurs, Puff Daddy, Diddy, Puffy, whatever you wish to call him, made a grand return to music last night at the BET Awards reuniting most of the Bad Boys Entertainment for a special one night performance. Included in that show was the world premiere of Puff Daddy's new song with Pharrell and the family, titled "Finna Get Loose." With the track buzzing, they have released the track in explicit and clean versions on iTunes and for streaming on Soundcloud.
  • Lil Wayne, Charlie Puth Share "Nothing But Trouble" from '808'

    Lil Wayne and Charlie Puth have linked up to deliver possibly the biggest track on Atlantic/Big Beat's soundtrack for the upcoming film 808 about the influence of the Roland RT-808. Presumably unlike the documentary, the "Nothing But Trouble" laments the new breed of "model" that only aspires to gain traction on social media, notably Instagram and Twitter. Charlie Puth of "See You Again" fame carries the hook with his soft and vulnerable voice with that same theme.
  • Skrillex, Diplo, Justin Bieber Release 'Where Are Ü Now' Video

    Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber have unveiled the music video for their hit tune "Where Are Ü Now." The song was originally released at the end of February as part of Skrillex and Diplo's Jack Ü album simple titled Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü. It has been hailed by some as the song of the summer and it has steadily risen up the charts since its release. The music video features the same type of artwork and effects superimposed on Bieber that was found in the "Take Ü There" video with Kiesza.
  • Dillon Francis Unveils 'This Mixtape is Fire' EP Featuring Skrillex

    Producer, DJ and social media comedian Dillon Francis has officially unveiled the details for his much-discussed EP that has been in the works for most of the year. The 7-track EP humorously titled This Mixtape Is Fire after all of the fire mixtape memes around the web features some of the biggest names in electronic music and coincidentally those who are also high up in Francis' Rolodex. Skrillex, Calvin Harris and Chromeo are among the DJs featured on the EP.

    Meek Mill has released his long-anticipated album Dreams Worth More Than Money today. The 14-track LP features some previously released singles like "All Eyes On You" with Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj and "Check." An album with this much hype is bound to have some big name features and Mill delivers with names like Drake, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, Diddy and his boo Nicki Minaj.

    Dr. Dre hasn't been musically active in nearly a decade though some fans still have hope that at some time or another the legendary Detox album will magically appear. Snoop Dogg is still working hard diversifying his musical output into more retro disco and funk genres, taking the next step from the soul and funk samples used in his early 1990s tracks that made the Doggfather famous. Now the pair has been spotted in the studio together according to an Instagram post by the Bush rapper with the caption "Guess who bAcc." The two rappers have been responsible for some of the greatest rap songs of all time like "The Next Episode" and "Nuthin But a G Thang."
