    The beef between The Game and Young Thug just went up another level. After Thugger responded with an Instagram video to the "How We Do" rapper, Game from the comfort of his own bed, recorded his own comeback. Instead of diving into what Thugger said and making a point to clear up the points about being in multiple gangs or a stripper, Game went simple calling Thugger a "b*tch ass N*gga" several times with plenty more profanity, before threatening to have someone drive by his place, probably not for a cup of tea. Game also is not a fan of the word bae.

The trio just released a new, free remix for Belgian, singer, songwriter, producer Stromae's 2013 song "Ave Cesaria." Diplo, Walshy Fire and Jillionaire flip the track on its head with swirling horns and a halftime, swinging beat.

    Earlier this spring, noted political commentator and comedian Jon Stewart announced that he would be stepping down from his post as the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, which he has been hosting for the past 17 years. He is not shying away from attacking the new candidates, notably the vast field of new GOP hopefuls. Stewart discussed their hopes or lack thereof with the aid of Eminem, rapping the lyrics to his classic 2000 collab with Dr. Dre "Forgot About Dre" and "My Name Is."

    The Beatles are considered by many to be one of the best and most influential rock bands ever. According to new study by a group of London academics focusing on musical patterns in the US pop charts from 1960 to 2010 the foursome were not as influential as many have thought. According to the researches, The Beatles did not create a musical revolution in the charts, but rather their styles were already established before the artists from the British Invasion, including the Rolling Stones arrived. The real revolution arrived 30 years later when hip-hop became mainstream on the charts.

Avicii put the banjos and synths on the other side of the studio for this one, working with the timeless genius of the original. The single sets the stage for Bergling's sophomore artist album Stories.

At a recent concert in New Orleans, The Game decided to support their local rapper Lil Wayne and call out Thugger by taking Weezy's side in the feud. Captured in two Instagram videos, The Game puts up the strongest defense for Weezy yet, saying if Thugger ever went out to L.A., he would "F*ck Young Thug up."

    Lil Wayne has released the music video to his Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape song "Selsun Blue." The video follows Weezy around in a skate park as he rises around doing a few small tricks and raps in front of a large graffiti mural. There are short cutaways to Weezy in front of some drugs, including popping some prescription drugs, reminiscent of the old days when he was a "pill poppin animal." Director Rob deGruy also adds short clips of old TV shows and films that fit in with what the Carter rapper is saying at the time.

Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas has not had trouble in recent memory generating buzz, selling out months before the lineup is even announced. 2015 was no exception, however they still used an interesting technique to unveil the lineup. They shared the lineup poster late last night in the form of a hieroglyphic-styled letters with a picture to help decode the bill. The internet put its collective brainpower together and decoded the mystery and unveil a stacked lineup with names like Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Avicii and others topping the EDC bill.

    Norwegian tropical DJ/producer sensation, Kygo, stopped by the BBC1 Live Lounge recently to perform a cover of Swedish rising star Tove Lo's breakout hit single, "Habits (Stay High)" with the help of Brooklyn-based vocalist, Parson James. The pair collaborated on Kygo's recent single, "Stole The Show," and premiered the music video during the YouTube Music Awards. This time they take a very different approach, covering a track outside of dance music, though Tove Lo's appeal to electronic music producers and fans has been pretty strong.

    One of the biggest songs in the United States right now, Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen," just got a pair of official remixes. The first in the United States features Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Migos member Quavo, while the UK version has an extra verse from Azealia Banks. These two remixes follow up a previous rework from New York MCs French Montana and Fabolous. The original mix has been everywhere on the radio, charts and on TV as Fetty Wap, real name Willie Maxwell, has gone from a unknown rapper in Paterson, New Jersey to an artist with star potential.

    If anyone isn't convinced that streaming is the next frontier of music, the developments behind the scenes occurring right now in 2015 should be enough to show them otherwise. Apple has been busy lately revamping Beats Music, the streaming arm of Beats, which they purchased for $3 billion last May and some details have leaked out to the press about what the future of Apple music is starting to look like. The Silicon Valley giant is making some aggressive moves to leverage its size in the industry and according to recent reports, it may have overstepped the boundaries with a DOJ investigation pending on Apple's pressuring the major's to end free streaming on Spotify. It has also reportedly lobbied Universal Music Group to take down its music from YouTube.

    Forbes has unveiled its cash kings list for the richest men in hip-hop and the numbers continue to grow at a remarkable rate. Dr. Dre clocked in as the wealthiest man in the genre last year when word began to spread about the sale of Beats to Apple for a whopping $3.2 billion. That number was later revised down to $3 billion and he went on to declare he was hip-hop's first billionaire. However, with his 25% stake in the company and after taxes, he "only" accrued a $500 million windfall. That left the door open for a rise in revenue from 2014's second place artist, Diddy, who has risen to the number one spot in the 2015 hip-hop cash kings list. Jay Z, 50 Cent and Cash Money's Birdman round out the rest of the list.
  • Migos Offset Reportedly Facing Additional Charges For Fighting In Jail

    Last month, Migos were arrested on multiple gun and drug charges during a show at Georgia Southern University. Two of the three members, Quavo and Takeoff were able to post bail stemming from the April 18 incident, but the third member, Kiari Kendrell Cephus, known by his stage name Offset, has been held in jail without bond. That situation just got a little worse according to local news reports that say additional charges are being filed against Offset for a fight that broke out in prison.

    Saturday night, the "Fight Of The Century" went down at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao with 16,000 celebrities and high rollers in attendance and millions watching worldwide. However the outcome -- a unanimous decision, which was predicted by many experts, left much to be desired. With all of the one-night-stand boxing fans rushing in to judge on what a good boxing match should be, most were largely disappointed to see a very tactical and finesse bout won by Mayweather. Guns N Roses vocalist Axl Rose was one of those mad at the fight and took to Twitter last night to express his frustration at how the fight transpired. He is also looking for another "free fight" some time soon, which would never happen with all of the money that could be made by all parties.

He points to Kanye West as an example as someone who is "a musical visionary" and "doesn't give a sh*t," yet still manages to make momentous music that will stand the test of time.

    For all of his talents, Chris Brown just can't seem to keep himself out of trouble. His latest run-in with the law names him as a suspect in a brawl during a late night basketball game on Sunday night in Las Vegas. Sin City was filled with celebrities all there to attend the "fight of the century" between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather and the subsequent afterparties and according to police, Breezy was playing hoops at 3:42 when at some point he got into an argument with one of the men and allegedly punched him. The game was played in the famous Hardwood Suite, where Brown was staying according to TMZ.

The "Hey Boy Hey Girl" duo team up with noted, inventive, screenwriter and director Michel Gondry to direct the eccentric music video that features seven women walking around a deserted town rowing and performing synchronized dances with long metallic poles. He started a few random soundcloud accounts to try and clandestinely upload old demos and unfinished music to the streaming service. The dumps have come in waves and are now concentrated on one account, user48736353001, who now has almost 200 tracks on the account. Over the weekend, Aphex Twin, real name Richard D. James added a few more tracks to the collection.

According to a tweet sent out today, Yeezy is changing the name of the LP to 'SWISH.' He did not offer an explanation for the name change, but it could be an acronym for a longer phrase.
