Petition Started Because Target Chose White Model to Promote New 'Annie' Film
Quvenzhané Wallis has become the most sought-after child actress thanks to her leading role as the first black "Annie" in a remake of the legendary musical and hit film. Wallis's performance has earned her a Golden Globe nomination, not to mention a nice, fat paycheck. Target has attached itself to this successful film and has launched a limited Annie clothing collection for young girls. Some see it as a problem that the lead girl in the marketing campaign is a young, white model.A petition has been started on change.org, requesting that the retailer change its ads and then issue Wallis an apology. The actress attended Target's launch party wearing items from the new "Annie" collection to promote it, but then was replaced at the last minute and her fans have taken offense. The petition reads, in part:"Your recent Annie ads and in-store displays depicts [sic] a misleading depiction of the movie as it shows a Caucasian young lady [as] opposed to the star of the film- Quvenzhané Wallis. Though the model is quite professional, she does not speak to the relevance of the movie or main character. When the original Annie came out, everything was about Aileen Quinn or a character/person that emulated her...why not now Target? If you can show it online, show it in ALL of your stores with multiple signage with different girls not one!"Although Annie is a fictitious character, there has been a major uproar from protesters stating that they would not support the movie due to the star being African American. Is [this] the reason why Target maliciously hid Quvenzhané Wallis or refused to use an African American girl to depict Annie in their ads?" -
Did an Affair with John Mayer Ruin Giada De Laurentiis’s Marriage?
It seems that many of Giada De Laurentiis's fans were shocked to learn that she is ready to divorce her husband of 11 years, Todd Thompson. The television chef issued a statement that painted a pretty civil picture of two grown adults simply deciding they need to move on in as kind a way as possible. Unfortunately, behind the scenes De Laurentiis has reportedly been cheating for years."After an amicable separation since July, Todd and I have decided to end our marriage. Although our decision to separate comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family's happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths. Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything. We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change," said the official statement by the chef.According to a report by Radar Online, she was actually caught cheating with John Mayer in fall 2010. The two had reportedly met years earlier, but saw each other again in the Boom Boom Room at The Standard in New York City. The source claims that as soon as they saw each other, they left the room moments apart and were caught intertwined together. Supposedly they left to go to a different hotel together. -
Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Staying Married May Have Been Easier Than 'Consciously Uncoupling'
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin grabbed headlines earlier this year, not only for announcing that they were ending their marriage, but also for making the phrase "conscious uncoupling" a thing. Sometimes it is said with seriousness, other times it has a sarcastic tone, but one thing is for sure: Everyone out there has heard it. In the months that have followed their formal split, Paltrow and Martin have actually seemed closer and tighter than ever. There has been speculation about a reconciliation and there were rumors that she single-handedly imploded Martin's brief fling with Jennifer Lawrence. Paltrow is tackling all the topics in her new interview in the February issue of "Harper's Bazaar UK."Ironically, the actress is the first to admit that she often contemplates whether or not they should still be married."It's painful, it's difficult, it might be easier to say, 'I never want to see you again,' but what good does that do anyone? We've made a lot of mistakes, and we've had good days and bad days, but I have to say, I'm proud of us for working through so much stuff together — and not blaming and shaming. Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want. But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close," said Paltrow. -
Bravo Holding Focus Groups to Help Decide Whether or Not to Begin Filming 'RHONJ'
Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is currently in a real state of flux. With series veteran Teresa Giudice scheduled to report to prison in less than a week, executives are left scrambling to figure out what they should do with the show. Everything is being considered: bringing back former fan favorites, looking for new talent and even putting the show on hiatus for a year and figuring out what to do with it later. These are all up for consideration, and apparently Bravo has now decided that a little fan involvement in making the final decision could not hurt.According to a report by Radar Online, focus groups are the way to go."Production is currently holding focus groups about moving forward without Teresa. They are trying to determine what the public perception was of the new cast and if any casting changes need to be made in regards to the new additions last season. If Bravo finds out that the public perception of the current cast is positive, they will likely begin filming in February; however, they are also exploring the option of putting on the show on a hiatus until the fall. This would allow them to play around with the cast if need be and film around the normal time frame the show films in, which is typically the fall," says a source for the show. -
Fox News Ranked the Top Cable News Network for Thirteenth Year in a Row
The end of the year means the television networks take a look back on the previous 12 months and analyze those numbers. Apparently, when it comes to news, Fox News not only crushed its competition, but this is actually the 13th year in a row that it is America's top cable news network.According to a report by Deadline, Fox News is doing great among all the cable networks as well.As 2014 ends, FNC celebrates its 13th consecutive year as the most-watched cable news network, though it, too, has had its disappointments. Overall, FNC is down 4 percent in total viewers — 1.05 million — the same percent in news demo viewers, though it finished laps ahead of its competition in both metrics, Deadline said.FNC rings out the year ranked No. 4 among ad-supported, basic-cable networks in overall primetime audiences, behind ESPN, USA Network and TNT. It also ranks No. 4 in total. CNN and MSNBC are way back in the 20s and 30s, said Deadline. -
BBC Drops Scandalous Documentary on Royals After Prince Charles's Attorney Gets Involved
A new documentary called "Reinventing the Royals" has originally been scheduled to premiere on BBC this coming weekend, but because of Prince Charles's overly aggressive legal team, it will likely never see the light of day. Apparently, the royal family originally believed the project was going to take a standard look at how the media and monarchy generally worked together. Instead, the project quickly began to shed light on some of the more sinister actions of the royals, and it is a view they would prefer the general public not have."Reinventing the Royals" supposedly focuses primarily on the time after Princess Diana's tragic death in 1997. It was when Prince Charles was the least liked or respected by the British people because of his treatment of his ex-wife. He felt it necessary to reinvent himself so the public would see him as a good father to Princes William and Harry. He also wanted to sway the public perception of the woman who came between him and Diana: Camilla Parker-Bowles. Back then, Parker-Bowles was having things thrown at her when she was out in public and Charles's goal was to get people to leave her alone. -
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez Make a Rare Public Appearance After Divorce Rumors
Halle Berry has only been married to Olivier Martinez since July of 2013 and the majority of their union has been riddled with gossip. Their son, Maceo Martinez, was born last fall and by the time he was just a few months old, rumors were rampant about Berry and Martinez living apart. The couple also has tried to keep their relationship private so making public appearances have never really been their thing. Perhaps that's why it was so surprising to see them out and about over the weekend. -
Kim Kardashian Will Build Kanye West a Studio Right Next Door to Their Home to Keep Tabs on Him
Kim Kardashian may have figured out a way to keep her husband at home with her for more than a few days at a clip. After weeks of reportedly arguing over the fact that Kanye West prefers to work on his new music in Paris and how it takes him away from his family on a regular basis, the couple has just purchased a new property that will be partially converted into a studio for West. -
Soap Star Katherine Kelly Lang's Stint on Italian 'DWTS' Not at All What She Imagined
Sometimes things that sound like a fantastic opportunity end up being pretty lousy, even if you are a celebrity. "The Bold & the Beautiful's" Katherine Kelly Lang recently found that out when she decided to join the cast of the Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars." Lang decided to take a three-month leave from the soap she has been on for more than 25 years in favor of trying something completely new and out of her element.Lang recently talked to "TV Guide's" Michael Logan about the experience and, as it turns out, she might wish that she had passed on what seemed like a great opportunity."I thought it would be fun to go over and compete on a dance program. [Laughs] Well, I was wrong! It turned out to be more of a reality show with dance involved and they really want to provoke you. They want to see your reactions. They want to see tears and anger. And they really want to see you fire back some retorts, which is so not my style. I don't like reality shows at all so, when I realized what was really going on, I was taken aback. I think maybe they thought they'd hired my character. They kept calling me 'Brooke.' I kept saying, 'My name is Kelly!' They had cameras on us during rehearsal at all times but they didn't show my injury on the air — in fact, they wanted to pretend it never happened. So when I was talking to the judges, I had to bring up my injury myself, which made it look like I was playing the pity card. [Laughs] I was, like, 'This is not happening!' said Lang of the experience. -
Chris Rock Was Tired of Being Married, Now Faces Custody Battle
When it was first announced that Chris Rock and his wife of 19 years, Malaak Compton-Rock, had split, it sounded like things might be as amicable as these things ever can be. It is a marriage that has had issues in the past, with the couple splitting up once before about eight years ago. Compton-Rock issued a kind of weird statement that referenced her work while confirming the split, then we heard she has been keeping the couple's two daughters from Rock and, well, this is starting to sound pretty messy.Rock reportedly filed official documents in a New Jersey court to dissolve the marriage last Tuesday, Dec. 23, and according to a report by TMZ it matters to him that people know it was his decision to pull the plug on the relationship. He is also pushing for joint custody while Compton-Rock is reportedly looking for sole custody of their children.Sources close to Rock have said that he is a great and an involved father, so much so that even while promoting his current movie, "Top Five," his work schedule had to be built around taking his daughters to school and then picking them up later in the day. That hardly sounds like the kind of guy you cut out of your kids's lives, and it kind of feels like she is trying to use the kids as a way to punish Rock, doesn't it? -
Gia Giudice Filming a Reality Show While Her Mom Teresa Prepares for Prison
Apparently, if you are part of the Giudice family, then being a part of a reality show makes sense. Teresa Giudice rose to fame thanks in part to her spot on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and, in an ironic twist, it also was probably her undoing. The desire to keep up appearances led Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, to fraudulent behavior that will result in prison time for both of them as punishment. As she is getting ready to report to prison in under a week, 13-year-old Gia Giudice is now filming a show of her own.In October, we first learned about Gia being part of an all-girl group called 3KT. The girls have put out two videos so far and, according to a report by "E! News," they have also had cameras trailing them. A source close to Gia explains:"It will be all about her group, 3KT. They've been filming already for two months. So far, the footage is really fun. Once the pilot is completed, they'll start shopping it to the networks. All the girls's families are in it here and there. But it's not a show about the grownups, it's all about the girls. Everyone's very excited about it." -
Kate Middleton Making Country House in Anmer Hall Her Main Residence
When Kate Middleton and Prince William settled into their new apartment at Kensington Palace in September 2013, they had hoped that having their young family based in London would be the best move possible. Instead, it has made them fair game for every member of the royal family who feels like stopping in, and it also has meant that Middleton has been too close to her built-in nemesis Camilla Parker-Bowles. Several months ago, the couple began renovating their country home at Anmer Hall with the intention of making it their primary residence.Rather than having her parenting style under Queen Elizabeth II's daily microscope, Middleton deciding that raising little Prince George in the country with more freedom was in his best interest. Once it was confirmed that the couple was expecting baby No. 2, the need to distance themselves from the chaos of city life became even greater.According to a new report by "People" magazine, Middleton is fully expected to make Anmer Hall her primary residence with her children. While William will certainly be with his young family the majority of the time, he will also likely be stationed out of Kensington Palace for the sake of the family business. Middleton and her brother and sister had a great childhood in the country, and the duchess seems to be determined to give her children a similar kind of upbringing as the one her parents gave her. -
Caroline Manzo's Return to 'RHONJ' Hasn't Been Confirmed, But She Already Has an Issue with Amber Marchese
The future of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is not certain, as Teresa Giudice, one of the main stars, is getting ready to serve a 15-month prison sentence. There have been rumors that former cast member and fan favorite Caroline Manzo may return in the interim. Apparently, Bravo execs realize that they need a heavy hitter if they want to do another season because the current cast lineup is not exactly going to grab viewers. If Manzo decides to return, it looks like she already has a bone to pick with Amber Marchese. It was recently confirmed that Caroline had finally reconciled with her sister, Dina Manzo, who is also a "RHONJ" cast member. Dina and Marchese have had some major issues in recent months, so it was more than a little coincidental when, upon meeting Marchese, Caroline was ice-cold. According to a source for Radar Online, there is a pretty decent chance that Caroline's behavior was intended as a display of support for her sister. -
Bodies and Debris Being Recovered from AirAsia Flight 8501 Crash Site
Families of the 162 passengers aboard AirAsia Flight 8501 are grieving this morning, as it has been confirmed that the wreckage has been found in the ocean about 6 miles from the Airbus's last-known location. About halfway into the two-hour flight, the crew encountered extremely bad weather early Sunday morning, Dec. 28, and when Capt. Iriyanto requested permission to climb to a higher altitude, he was denied. Two minutes later, the controller told him that it was safe to proceed to 38,000 feet, but got no response. Loved ones held out hope for more than two days, only to have the worst confirmed early this morning, Dec. 30.AirAsia group CEO Tony Fernandes has attempted to handle this tragedy with great care and has been nothing but supportive and empathetic toward the families who were waiting for official word.Today, Fernandes tweeted, "My heart is filled with sadness for all the families involved in QZ 8501. On behalf of AirAsia my condolences to all. Words cannot express how sorry I am."He has since flown back to Surabaya to be with the grieving families. He also has chartered a flight to take them out to the airspace over the Java Sea to say their final goodbyes to loved ones in the area where they lost their lives. -
Jennifer Aniston Is Wrapping Up a Great Year and Could Care Less About the Paparazzi
Jennifer Aniston might easily be wrapping up the most satisfying year of her career. Sure, she has made no apologies for loving all those years she spent playing Rachel Green on "Friends," but this year has been different. She took a risk by playing a stripped-down, chronic pain sufferer in the indie film "Cake," and the critical acclaim has come. She has already been nominated for an SAG and a Golden Globe for that performance, and many are anticipating an Oscar nod as well. While she cares about all the award buzz enough to have hired someone to guide her through it, she could care less about the paparazzi.Aniston recently did an interview with Yahoo Beauty's Bobbi Brown and explained how, when it comes to dealing with photographers chasing her, she now chooses not to give it much thought at all."The truth is you just go, 'If they get a picture, that picture comes and goes, so who cares?' Then you have 30 mean people who sit at their computers and spend their entire day picking apart and insulting celebrities about how ugly they are just so they can feel better — I guess — about themselves. I don't understand it," said Aniston. -
Jessica Alba Claims that She Is 'Squishy' from Not Working Out as Much
Jessica Alba might just be one of the busiest celebrity moms around. When she is not chasing after her two daughters with husband Cash Warren, she might be reading lines for her current acting gig. Or she could be in the boardroom completely proving that she is more than capable of running the million-dollar company she founded, The Honest Company. In January, you will find Alba covering the latest issue of "Natural Health."While the actress admits that she rarely gets through a business meeting without candy and popcorn, which are office staples, she still often comes under fire for being extremely thin. Alba has always worked out a lot and has admitted it, but she claims her reasons for doing so are different now."I didn't appreciate working out when I was in my 20s. It was purely for work, and I hated it so much. It was just brutal. Now I enjoy it, because it's 'me' time and a stress-reliever. It's fun to mix it up. And I really like to work out with friends. They keep me accountable. I like how I feel after a workout. I'm a little squishy right now. It's fine. I don't care," says Alba in her interview with "Natural Health."It sounds like perhaps all these years under the microscope of Hollywood has left Alba with a little bit of a distorted body image because it is hard to imagine anyone calling her squishy, especially when she was just ripped apart for looking anorexic in a recent photo that she posted from a vacation in Thailand. -
After Rumors of Divorce and Abuse, Mel B and Stephen Belafonte Spend Holidays Together
It seems that only Mel B — Melanie Brown — herself knows the real situation going on behind the scenes with her husband Stephen Belafonte, and she is bound and determined to keep it that way — at least for now. The former Spice Girl was taken to a London hospital Dec. 11 and then missed a taping of "The X Factor" two days later — a major no-no. All sorts of rumors and innuendo spread, but finally Mel B spoke up on social media, insisting all is well.It had been alleged that Belafonte is abusive, a claim that has even been made by Mel B's mother, and that when she returned to work on "The X Factor" she had several noticeable bruises on her. On Instagram Sunday, Dec. 28, she posted a photo of herself with her husband that was captioned, "This is for my fans havin problems with my Twitter will be back soon! I'm very good was very polly but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans."There were also rumors that Mel B's hospitalization was because of an accidental overdose and afterward she reportedly was afraid to leave London because she was dreading having to return to the States to deal with things with Belafonte. -
'RHOA' Phaedra Parks Couldn't Wait for Creepy Apollo Nida to Be Behind Bars
The season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" that is currently airing was filmed late in the summer, shortly before Phaedra Parks's husband, Apollo Nida, was scheduled to surrender to police to begin serving an eight-year prison sentence. It seems like every time he pops up on camera he is spewing hate for his wife's lack of support, and it is clear that he is, at best, a wild card who seems to follow her everywhere. The level of stress on Parks for having to contend with Nida is palpable. It is really no surprise that rather than being upset by the fact that the father of her two kids was heading off to prison, there came a point when any upset turned into relief. In a conversation with her mother on last night's episode of "RHOA," Parks admitted she was anxious for Nida to report to jail in Kentucky."I won't have to be worried about all his nonsense, wondering what's going on with him, has he wrecked something, has he got in trouble somewhere?" said Parks. -
Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter Have Actually Been Living Apart for More Than a Year
While there seemed to be quite a bit of shock last week when Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton publicly confirmed that they have split after 13 years together, those close to the two likely expected it. Burton, who has been promoting his movie "Big Eyes," first raised eyebrows in September 2013 when he was caught kissing a mystery blonde. While there was never confirmation that he had been caught cheating, it was a turning point in his relationship with Bonham Carter. The two reportedly split for good earlier this year. While some media outlets have claimed that Bonham Carter is a mess over the breakup, sources for Page Six seem to indicate the opposite, saying:"Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter announced the end of their 13-year relationship last week, but sources tell Page Six that they've actually been living separate lives for more than a year and that both have had other lovers."A source tells us: "Tim and Helena have been living separate lives for [more than] a year, and since they separated, they have both had other lovers. The separation announcement was made saying they'd split earlier this year, but they have been living apart for much longer." -
Khloé Kardashian Is Ready to File for Default Divorce Judgment if Lamar Odom Keeps Ignoring Her
Khloé Kardashian may not be divorced from Lamar Odom yet, but apparently she does have every intention of making sure that it happens. We recently told you that Odom has never formally answered his wife's petition for divorce and that the case has been sitting for more than a year. If someone does not file something within the next month, then the whole petition can be dismissed from the court due to inactivity. Kardashian is not going to let that happen.According to a report by TMZ, she has tried in vain to get Odom to have a meeting so both sides can sit down and iron out the details of the divorce once and for all. It is something he does not want to do because Odom has never really wanted the divorce in the first place.Because so much time has passed without a formal response, Kardashian can go ahead and file a request for a default divorce. Sources close to the reality star were not sure if she was going to actually do that, but now it seems Kardashian is ready to take whatever steps necessary to divorce her ex. -
'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Enjoys Her Last Few Days of Freedom Skiing and Doing Shots with Friends
In less than two weeks, Teresa Giudice is scheduled to report to a Connecticut prison camp to begin serving a 15-month sentence for financial fraud, and the reality star is making the most of her last few days of freedom. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star began her weekend supporting her daughter Gia Giudice's singing group 3KT as they performed a holiday concert and spent the next day on the ski slopes.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice spent time over the weekend at Crystal Springs Resort and Spa in New Jersey. After being spotted on the ski slopes, Teresa was later spotted doing Fireball shots with a few friends. Sources claim that while the star was determined to have a good time, there were definitely moments in the trip where she appeared quite uneasy. While the judge who sentenced Teresa to 15 months in prison allowed her to begin serving her time after the holidays, purposely giving her more time with her four kids, that is not going to really make things easier on her in the long run. The build-up in the press before Teresa's incarceration has likely weighed heavily on her whole family. -
Eddie Cibrian Got a Job: Now LeAnn Rimes Is Worried He'll Cheat with New Costar Chelsea Kane
It looks like LeAnn Rimes might be getting a taste of her own medicine, or at the least she now fully understands how Brandi Glanville felt in 2009. That was when Rimes met Glanville's then-husband Eddie Cibrian on the set of a Lifetime movie, and the two fell in love in spite of being married to other people. Fast-forward five years and Rimes may be married to Cibrian, but that is not enough to convince her that he will not cheat — in fact, she knows better.Cibrian's acting career seems to have been a bit of a struggle since hooking up with Rimes, but he recently landed a gig on ABC Family's "Baby Daddy." In it, Cibrian will play the lead character's boss in a multistory arc. That means he will be working closely with Chelsea Kane, a 26-year old who is kind of his type. This is reportedly not sitting well with Rimes, probably because she knows how easily swayed her husband can be.Rimes has claimed she trusts her husband completely because, while they might have technically both cheated on their then-spouses, it was because they are destined to be together, not because they are typical cheaters. That theory might hold a bit more water if Cibrian had not cheated on his first wife with everyone in a skirt before finally getting to Rimes. -
Rumors Reignited Over the Possibility of James Hewitt Being Prince Harry's Real Father
A controversial new West End play is reigniting the debate over who Prince Harry's true biological father is. It is no secret that Princess Diana was having an affair with cavalry officer James Hewitt 18 months before Harry's birth, and many have alleged he is that prince's real father. It is a claim Hewitt himself has always denied, but he approved of the dialogue in "Truth, Lies, Diana" that seems to indicate he is Harry's father.Jon Conway wrote the play and reportedly spoke with several people who were close to Diana, including Hewitt:"I have been talking to James over a period of two years. I met him and he told me some quite remarkable things that have never been said in the public domain, particularly about when his relationship with Diana started. There is a startling revelation that James Hewitt makes and he has allowed me to make it in the play. This is the fact that his relationship with Diana started 18 months before Prince Harry was born."We are not saying he is Prince Harry's father although the audience may take their own view on that. I don't know if James Hewitt is Prince Harry's father, and James Hewitt has always denied it either because it isn't true or out of some sense of loyalty." -
Investigators Believe AirAsia Flight 8501 Likely 'At the Bottom of the Sea'
For a little while, it seemed like debris from AirAsia's Flight 8501 might have been spotted floating in the Java Sea, but that possibility has now been dismissed. The work horse flight disappeared from radar more than 36 hours ago after asking to alter its course due to bad weather. A few minutes later the Airbus 320-200 disappeared from radar and has not been seen or heard from since.Unfortunately, as time goes on, officials have seen less reason to believe that the outcome of this situation will be anything less than grim. Indonesia's search and rescue chief Henry Bambang Soelistyo has admitted that, "Based on the coordinates that we know, the evaluation would be that any estimated crash position is in the sea, and that the hypothesis is the plane is at the bottom of the sea."That is obviously not the reality the families of the 162 people on board Flight 8501 want to believe. Their loved ones departed Surabaya, Indonesia, Sunday morning, Dec. 28, headed for Singapore, a trip that usually takes about two hours. The plane instead vanished amid thick storm clouds and thunderstorms that made travel conditions difficult. -
Maurice Bernard Inks New Contract with 'General Hospital'
In the world of daytime television, it takes a special character to stick around for the long haul and General Hospital's Sonny Corinthos is exactly that kind of guy. Luckily, his portrayer, Maurice Bernard, recently re-upped his contract with the show and he will be sticking around Port Charles for a few more years. -
Has Watching The Giudice Family Crumble Prompted the Manzo's and Laurita's from 'RHONJ' to Mend Fences?
We have spent so much time discussing everything that is wrong with the cast of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" that it's actually quite easy to overlook the good. Long before Teresa Giudice's trip to prison was imminent, one of the biggest feuds was between Caroline Manzo, her sister Dina Manzo and their sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita. While it has never been made public knowledge what exactly happened to cause the family to have a huge falling out, the ladies all recently decided to put their petty grievances aside in favor of uniting the family. -
Khloe Kardashian Only Dated French Montana Because She Was "Destructive and Lonely"
Fans of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons" already understand that Khloe Kardashian has quite obviously chosen to deal with her divorce from Lamar Odom by not dealing with it at all. Instead, the reality star spent the better part of a year partying and hitting up the clubs, basically doing anything that allowed her to squash her upset rather than deal with it. Kardashian is covering the February 2015 issue of the UK's version of Cosmopolitan and she's finally admitting that her ways of dealing may not have actually worked. -
Search for Missing AirAsia Flight 8501 Has Been Suspended Due to Bad Weather
2014 has proven to be an especially tragic year for air travel in Southeast Asia, and in the last 24 hours it has been compounded by the loss of another plane. AirAsia Flight 8501 vanished over the Indonesian Sea Sunday, Dec. 28, and as of now there is no trace of the craft. The flight, carrying 162 people, departed Surabaya for Singapore, but not long into the trip the pilot asked to change his course. At 6:13 a.m., Flight 8501 was reportedly in the middle of dense fog and thunderstorm and the pilot asked to gain speed and altitude in an attempt to fly over the clouds. The flight was last seen on the radar at 6:16 a.m., and after several hours of searching efforts to find the missing plane have been halted until daylight. The Airbus A320 took off from Surabaya, Indonesia's second largest airport, with an Indonesian captain and a French co-pilot, five cabin crew members and 155 passengers, including 16 children and one infant. According to an official statement by AirAsia, most of the passengers were Indonesians. There were also three South Koreans, a Malaysian, a British national and his 2-year-old Singaporean daughter. The captain reportedly has more than 20,000 flying hours and the first officer has 2,275 flying hours. At Surabaya airport, families were gathered together in a small room, attempting to comfort each other as they await word on the fate of the flight. AirAsia is 49 percent owned by Malaysia, which makes this the third ill-fated flight of this calendar year for that country. -
Bill Cosby Has Hired Investigators to Dig Up Dirt on His Many Accusers
After everything that we have heard about Bill Cosby's true character in recent weeks, it is surprising he has not gone after his multitude of accusers from the start. He may have held back from doing so in the beginning while hoping that all the accusations would somehow just disappear and be discredited on their own. Since the exact opposite has happened, Cosby is now out for proverbial blood.According to a report by Page Six, Cosby has hired a West Coast-based team of private investigators to dig up any dirt that exists on his accusers. In one meeting with the team, Cosby reportedly said, "If you're going to say to the world that I did this to you, then the world needs to know what kind of person are you? Who is this person that's saying it? You can't say that I put something in your coffee, threw you in a cab and then you go on and live a high-profile life, a famous life and you never complain."That, quite obviously, is in reference to Beverly Johnson's account of being drugged by the actor while auditioning for his sitcom back in the 1980s. -

While she is happy for her older sister, Kim has never been very good at hiding either her disappointment or resentment and this time around it nearly ruined Christmas.
