  • Hundreds of NYPD Officers Turn Their Backs on Mayor de Blasio at Rafael Ramos' Funeral

The funeral for NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos at Christ Tabernacle Church in Queens was one of the more somber scenes in the city in recent months. Ramos and his partner, Officer Wenjian Liu, were assassinated while sitting in their patrol car eating lunch last week in Brooklyn. It was an act carried out in retaliation for the chokehold death of Eric Garner and the shooting of Ferguson teen Michael Brown last summer, and it has only deepened the divide that exists in the city. Mayor Bill de Blasio has tried in recent days to extend an olive branch to the NYPD, but it was glaringly apparent today that as a whole, the department isn't having it.
  • 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's' Joseline Hernandez Suspended from the Show for First Four Episodes Next Season

Joseline Hernandez has served as a real lightening rod for trouble and the producers of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" seem to really love that about her. However, her behavior during the last reunion show was extreme, even for her. The entire cast sat on the stage all but begging VH1 to fire her after she and her equally messy man, Stevie J were both escorted from the premises by security. Many thought that she would be fired and while producers weren't about to let their biggest start slip through their fingers, she has had her wrist slapped.
  • Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom's Divorce Petition Is Just Weeks from Dismissal

When Khloé Kardashian first filed for divorce from Lamar Odom more than a year ago, she was hoping for a swift ending to her painful marriage. Instead her husband has yet to even respond to the public filing which means that they are no closer to dissolving their marriage than they were the day that Kardashian filed for divorce. The reality star is now able to move forward looking for a default divorce judgment but she doesn't seem to be very interested in doing so.
  • 'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Believes New Legal Team Will Get Her Out of Jail Early

It's amazing how many headlines Teresa Giudice still manages to grab, in spite of doing precious little in the last few months. Back in October "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star learned that she'll be serving 15 months behind bars after pleading guilty on several fraud charges, but she claims not to have really understood the plea deal that she took. Instead Giudice believes that her own legal team mislead her so she has been shopping for new representation as her Jan. 5 incarceration date quickly approaches.
  • Columbia Journalism Review Names CNN's Don Lemon Worst Reporter of the Year

It's that point in the year when nearly every publication dishes out their "best and worst" lists and it seems that CNN's Don Lemon's reporting has been particularly noteworthy. According to the Columbia Journalism Review, Lemon has been named the worst reporter of 2014. Maybe it's the way that he manages to discredit victims on camera or perhaps it's how Lemon likes to make himself an active part of the stories that he's covering, in the end the result seems to always be the same — people really just don't like this guy.
  • 'RHOA's' Phaedra Parks Cancels Christmas Trip to Kentucky Prison to Visit Apollo Nida

It looks like Apollo Nida's Christmas wasn't so merry after all. The reality star has been locked up in a Kentucky prison since September after pleading guilty to a string of charges last May. For a moment there it looked like "The Real Housewives of Atlanta"'s Phaedra Parks was going to take her sons to visit Nida, their father, in jail for the holiday but at the last minute she changed her mind.
  • Did Angelina Jolie Purposely Starve Herself While Working on 'Unbroken'?

"Unbroken" first rolled into theaters on Christmas day and already the numbers have been looking pretty strong. Angelina Jolie has promoted the heck out of this film in the last six weeks and while it's not her first directorial venture it certainly became a serious labor of love. The actors involved in "Unbroken" have praised Jolie and claim that working with her has been a fabulous experience. They also have expressed concern because the overworked mom of six barely ate on set.
  • Sony's Salary Leaks Have Made Contract Negotiations Nearly Impossible

We have spent the last few weeks dishing on the grand-scale hacking of Sony and the impact that it has had in the entertainment world. While learning that the FBI had officially determined that North Korea was ultimately the starting point for the hack, dealing with that situation may prove to be the very least of the company's problems. All the focus has been on The Interview, finally getting it into theaters and then what if any, repercussions would be. Sony still has to contend with a bunch of angry employees and that is a situation that's not going away any time soon.
  • 'Saved By the Bell's' Dustin Diamond Arrested for Stabbing Man in Christmas Bar Fight

There are always a handful of celebs that, when their name comes up, you know that there will be nothing positive attached to it. Former Saved By the Bell star Dustin Diamond is one of those people, so naturally the latest drama surrounding him is as dysfunctional as ever. Apparently the former actor decided to make sure that this Christmas was one of his most memorable to date, because he ended up in a jail cell.
  • 'Love & Hip Hop NYC's' Tahiry Jose Still Recovering from NYFW Attack

Love & Hip Hop NYC returned to VH1 a few weeks ago with Tahiry Jose still in the mix. She was physically attacked last September and just this past week her assailant, Charles Suggs got off pretty easy in a Manhattan court room.
  • Jenna Coleman Will Return to 'Doctor Who' for Another Season as Clara Oswald

Fans of BBC's "Doctor Who" were given one of the best Christmas gifts possible within the show's holiday special. While it certainly looked like Clara Oswald's time with the Doctor was coming to an abrupt end, it is just the opposite. Clara will continue on as the Doctor's companion for another season, which means Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman will be sharing screen time for several more episodes. After it was revealed that their storyline together is not quite finished yet, Coleman explained her reasons for sticking around and how working with two different Doctors — Capaldi and Matt Smith — has made it interesting."I get a whole other series of stories with the Doctor and I couldn't walk away with the story being unresolved. I think they've finally just reached a point where they really understand each other. The arrival of the 12th Doctor has just kind of dropped this whole bombshell and allowed the dynamic to totally change. So I think just when Clara was feeling more comfortable in the relationship, it has suddenly thrown something new up," says Coleman.
  • Amy Adams Still Doesn't Understand Why 'Today' Canceled Her Interview

It may be several days since "Today" abruptly decided to cancel Amy Adams's interview, but the dust has yet to settle. The actress was scheduled to sit for an interview promoting her new Harvey Weinstein film "Big Eyes," but when she told staffers that she would rather not comment on the Sony hacking, her segment was canceled, leaving Adams baffled. Weinstein has demanded the network issue a formal apology to one of his favorite actresses, and his company has reportedly been locked in negotiations with NBC executives for days.As for Adams, she still does not understand what actually happened. At the Los Angeles premiere of her film, she told reporters she was actually prepared to do the interview when "Today" pulled the plug on it instead."I expressed that I was uncomfortable. I said I would rather not add my voice to this conversation. But it was clear they were drawing a hard line. That this would be part of the conversation. I walked away from the conversation and went up to the room to do the interview. I assumed they were going to ask me about [the Sony hacking]. And I was prepared for that, to whatever degree I was prepared. I was informed that they had decided to pull the interview. I was confused and definitely frustrated. I still don't understand," explained Adams.
  • Melissa Rivers's Biggest Holiday Wish Is for Her Son to Laugh Again

These last four months have no doubt been at times unbearable for Melissa Rivers and her son Cooper. The untimely death of Joan Rivers in early September has been a devastating blow for the tight-knit family, and while Melissa is starting to step out in public again, that does not mean things are back to normal either for her or Cooper.TMZ caught up with the late comedienne's daughter last week and asked her about her holiday wish, and Melissa said her fondest Christmas wish would be for her son to begin laughing again. While she said she believes 2015 will have great things in store for them, it seems it may be awhile before they are feeling somewhat back to normal.Even if Melissa and Cooper have adjusted to not having Joan as a prominent part of their daily lives, there is still a legal battle ahead. It seems many mistakes were made by the staff of the Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic, from administering too much propofol to Joan to ignoring the fact that her vitals had dropped for an extended period of time, and Melissa has every intention of holding them accountable.
  • Johnny Depp Is Struggling to Get His Drinking Under Control

Johnny Depp raised eyebrows last month when he turned up on stage at the Hollywood Press Awards looking pretty drunk. Presenting proved to be a challenge for the actor, and the headlines it garnered proved to be embarrassing for himself and his fiance, Amber Heard. Apparently, Depp has finally begun listening to those closest to him and is sticking close to home in an attempt to rehab himself.According to a report by Radar Online, Depp's ex Vanessa Paradis has blamed Heard for his falling off the wagon so hard, and now his current love is on board with helping the actor sober up."Amber broke his sobriety, but she isn't necessarily a bad influence. She isn't a party girl anymore. Amber and family members asked him to get help. She is dead serious about walking away from him unless he cleans up his act. After realizing that he clearly had an issue, Johnny would often be seen traveling with a companion to help encourage his sobriety. Johnny's problem has always been his moderation. He couldn't just have one," said the source.

Not one to ever cancel on her obligations, Foster was determined to make her appearance before having to surrender to her illness once again. She was released before Christmas and able to spend the actual holiday surrounded by family, but sources say everyone is still really concerned about the state of Foster's health.
  • Amanda Bynes Is Reportedly Off Her Meds, but Lucid and Back on Track

After a few months of acting out and racking up another DUI, Bynes is reportedly doing much better.
  • Is Kim Kardashian Struggling to Conceive a Second Child?

Just when it seemed like Kim Kardashian always gets what she wants, we are learning that is not the case. It seems she is not having an easy time getting pregnant with a second child.According to a report by TMZ, power couple Kardashian and Kanye West have been trying to get pregnant for about nine months now, with no luck. The couple was spotted leaving her Beverly Hills's doctors office earlier this week, and sources say she has been visiting once a month in the hopes of becoming pregnant. Supposedly, three different specialists have told Kardashian that conceiving again might be a long shot at best.Sadly, she and West believed that since getting pregnant with North was so easy, then adding to the family would be a breeze. Instead, Kardashian has had no choice but to deal with whatever medical condition it is that makes conception difficult. Kim is not the only one in her family to struggle with fertility, though. Khloé Kardashian seemed to spend the majority of her marriage to Lamar Odom trying to unsuccessfully start a family.

  • Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen Almost Dated Years Ago

This time around, Cooper decided to tell the story about why they have never actually gone out on a date.According to Cooper, it almost happened, as a mutual friend did try to set them up."When we were set up ... we had a phone call to talk before we actually went out on a date. • Harvey Weinstein Is Pushing Hard for 'Today' to Apologize to Amy Adams for Abruptly Canceling Her Interview

If NBC thought it could abruptly cancel Amy Adam's interview scheduled for "The Today Show" Monday, Dec. 22, and not have issues, it was not thinking clearly. Adams was scheduled to do an interview promoting her latest film, "Big Eyes," but when the actress told staffers she did not feel comfortable discussing the fallout from the Sony hacking scandal, she was told her segment had been shelved. Harvey Weinstein's company has produced "Big Eyes" and Adams is always in good standing with him, so he is out for a bit of blood.According to a source for Page Six, NBC's feeble attempts to smooth things over are not sitting well with Weinstein, who wants a formal apology to Adams at the least."Even though 'Today' host Matt Lauer tried to smooth things over after the drama with a call to Weinstein," the source added, "Weinstein wants a formal apology or at least an independent investigation into what happened by an independent authority like Rudy Giuliani."

Theresa has become so desperate she's now considering giving her kids to friends!" says the source.

Things have been falling apart fast on this season of ABC's "The View," and the network is scrambling to figure out what to do to get the fiasco under control. Whatever personal turmoil might have originally existed between Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell has now spilled out while they are on-camera, and last week's shouting match took the discord to a whole new level of hostility. • 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's' Stevie J Has Been Ordered Into Rehab After Failing 10 Drug Tests

One thing is for certain, if Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's Joseline Hernandez isn't getting herself into trouble, then her common-law-husband Stevie J is. Back in June the producer was popped for owing over one million dollars in back child support and he was released on $25,000 bail. Rather than working to pay off his debt and aiming to keep his nose clean, Stevie J can't seem to stay on the straight and narrow path.

  • Amy Adams Interview on 'Today' Canceled When She Refused to Discuss Sony Hack

Amy Adams held her ground with NBC executives yesterday and it cost her a promotional interview on "Today." Her name has been mentioned in some of the leaked emails that prove she and Jennifer Lawrence were paid considerably less than their male costars in "American Hustle." It was a topic Adams refused to touch, so "Today" decided to cancel her interview on the spot in spite of her being there to actually promote her new film "Big Eyes."What actually transpired in the green room depends on who you ask. Adams's team insists she carried herself with grace while NBC insiders are saying things got heated and her attitude did not win her any fans. According to "Us Weekly," it was just business as usual for the morning show.
  • Erica Mena Leaving 'Love & Hip Hop New York' for a Spinoff with Bow Wow

Is Erica Mena one of the reasons you tune in to "Love & Hip Hop New York" each week? If so, then you will likely be sad to know that the reality star has confirmed that this will be her last season on the show. Life has radically changed for Mena in the last year, as she went from being a loose cannon living with girlfriend Cyn Santana to happily engaged to Shad Moss, aka Bow Wow. It is also looking like there is a good chance that these two will be getting a new reality spinoff show.Mena recently did an interview on New York City's WPIX and teased that a new show was a possibility. Let's be real here: Mena needs to make that paper somehow, and it seems kind of unlikely that she would give up her spot on "Love & Hip Hop" without another gig lined up. • NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton Does Not Feel that Mayor de Blasio Has 'Blood' on His Hands

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton have worked hard today to prove to the media and general public that they are committed to repairing the deep divide in the city. Early this morning, Bratton did an interview with "Today" that seemed to try and lead the way in smoothing over tensions between his officers and those on the job at City Hall. It has been widely reported that many officers do not feel that de Blasio has had their backs thanks to recent statements he has made. While Bratton understood how some officers are feeling, he also believes de Blasio has nothing to apologize for.Bratton also went on the record to say he believes it was wrong of officers to have turned their backs purposely on de Blasio before he gave a news conference about the deaths of two Brooklyn officers Saturday, Dec. 20. Some officers have reportedly felt that de Blasio has complicated their job by allowing protestors of the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown to freely roam city streets. Bratton challenged the notion that de Blasio has turned his back on the Police Department by reminding everyone that he has granted more than $400 million outside the normal budget to bolster the NYPD.
